Ruhanika's POV

"Wait" I said.

"What?" He asked.

"What is your name?" I asked him.

"Reyansh" he replied.

" I mean full name" I clarified.

"Reyansh Malhotra" he said. I just nodded.

I didn't notice this room before but now that I am looking at it, it is huge.

Is he the billionaire with a B I always wanted? If the marriage was consensual, it would have been better.

"Can we go down now?" He asked.

"Yes" I replied and walked towards the door.

He forwarded his hand to me. I was confused. He saw right through me and said

"We just got married yesterday. So we have to be like a newly married couple who love each other dearly in front of the family." He explained.

"Okay". I said.

I held his shirt's sleeve. He is pretty handsome no doubt but still I can't just forget the fact that he left me crying on the floor yesterday and was so rude to me.

He started walking. I was examining the house.

Aree baap re. Itna bada Ghar aur itne raste. Yeh toh bhul bhulaiya hai.

( Oh my god. Such a big house. It is more like a maze.)

We reached the stairs and down there I could see some people. Probably his family.

As soon as we got down, everyone was staring at me.

Yeh pura khandaan mujhe aise kyun dekhta hai jaise Mai koi bhootni hun?

( Why does this whole family look at me as if I am a ghost.)

"Oh my god! You are so pretty. Mere bete ki kismat mein Chand hi likha tha aur usse Chand hi Mila. Mai tumhare saasu maa hun par tum mujhe apni maa hi samajhna." A lady in her 50s said while walking towards me.

( My son deserved the best and he the best. I am your mother in law but you should just think of me as your mother.)

I smiled. She was the first person in this house I met who was soo sweet.

Unlike her Raja beta.

But why are they behaving as if they haven't seen me. I mean they must have seen my photo at least.

I tried to bend down to touch her feet but she held my shoulder and hugged me instead.

Her hug made me feel as if it was my mom.

But right now I don't care about my parent's love but only the answers as to why they did this.

And my brother. Was he also involved in all this?

I mean no one except him can carry me when I was unconscious.

Not that I am too heavy but my father is old now. I was busy in my thoughts when maa said something.

" Ghar ki Laxmi pair chhute achhi nhi lagti. Tum bas mere gale Mila karna. Mere aashirwad toh humesha tumhare saath hai." She kept her hand on my head.

(Girls of the house shouldn't touch feet. You should just hug me. My blessings is always with you.)

My eyes teared up but I quickly wiped them.

She broke the hug and asked me to sit on the dining table. I looked at Reyansh.
