18. His care

Ruhanika's POV

I was really embarrassed when I got my period and didn't have anything with me. I was so stupid that I didn't realise my date was close.

But I felt really good when he helped me. He wasn't embarrassed or disgusted. But instead he took care of me.

He got me hot water bag. He massaged my belly and head to help me fall asleep. And he even gave me ginger tea when I woke up due to cramps at like 3 am.

In the morning too, when the bed was stained, he didn't say anything to me. He tried to console me that it wasn't my fault. But still I was really awkward.

He even told me to stay at home and rest instead of going to the office. But it wasn't the first time so I could handle it at the office.

My day today wasn't very stressful. It was pretty normal. Just that the cramps did hurt a bit. But I could bear them.

The day was almost over and that was when I got to know about the shocking news that made me happy yet upset all together.

A colleague was working on the presentation of tomorrow's meeting. She was on maternity leave and worked from home. She went into labor yesterday. So she won't be working for a few weeks or maybe months.

And now I have to complete the presentation because no one except me can do this anymore.

She was the best presentation maker but now that it's the best time of her life and painful as well, we can't ask her to work. I can do this at least.

I walked downstairs towards the main gate of the office. I didn't drive today because my husband didn't want me to do many things and exert myself out.

He was standing near the gate. He was so busy on his phone that he didn't even notice the number of girls drooling on him. In fact he didn't even notice that I was out already.

I wanted to smack his head. Why can't he just sit inside the car? First he is looking so handsome and then he is standing outside where everyone can see him.

I walked towards the car. When I stood in front of him, he then noticed me. So busy huh Mr Malhotra!?

" You are-" I cut him off by holding his arm. I pulled him away from the door of the passenger's seat. I opened the door and sat inside the car without listening to him.

He looked confused. He came and sat on his seat. He made me wear the seatbelt and placed a small kiss on my cheek.

" What's wrong? Are you in a bad mood?" He asked. Bad mood? Seriously? Kisi ne sach kaha hai ki yeh admi log pagaal hote hai. ( Someone said the truth that men are stupid.)

" Moon tell me what's wrong." He asked again. I didn't reply. He didn't question further either. He started driving.

We didn't seem to go home. But instead somewhere else. I wanted to change my mood so I decided to work on the presentation.

I took out my laptop and started writing. After like 10 mins, the car stopped. We were outside a really beautiful garden. I never seen such a pretty garden ever.

Where exactly were we? How come I don't know about such a peaceful yet amazing place?

He opened the door and went outside. He walked and went somewhere leaving me all alone in the car. Great!!! So now he brought me somewhere and left me alone.

I was angry. But I had more important work so I just focused on my presentation. I kept on working and working.

It's been 30 minutes and I have no fucking idea where my dear husband is right now. He left me here in this car alone and went somewhere.
