44. She is back

Reyansh's POV

Today marked the departure of everyone for Jaipur.

Originally, I had similar plans of leaving today itself. However, I had to adjust them due to an important client meeting scheduled for today.

I have made the decision to reach that place tomorrow.

I stood outside, giving clear instructions to the guards to remain close yet not be that clearly seen to everyone at all times so as to not scare anyone, especially emphasizing that errors must be avoided in my absence.

" Is everything done??" I heard the voice of the person I hate the most.

I turned around to see him looking at me for the answer to his question.

" From my side it is. As long as you don't cause any problems, we are good." I replied in a rude tone.

" Reyansh!! Don't talk to your father like that." My mother scolded coming from behind.

She stood beside Mr. Malhotra.

" Let it be. We just can't keep scolding our son who is a fully grown and independent man." He said.

I felt like laughing at this 'son' joke but somehow controlled myself.

Everyone was out now as it was time for them to leave for airport.

" Rey Rey. Kia kia will miss you." My sweet cake said and extended her arms towards me.

I lifted her up and give her a kiss on her forehead. She wiggled a little feeling my beard against her soft skin.

" I will miss you too my dear." I said. She giggled.

" Come my cutie pie. Let's sit in the car now." Maa said and took Kiara from my arms.

" Have a safe journey." I wished her. She showed me a small smile and sat inside the car.

" Bye brother. Take care and don't forget your meals. See you tomorrow." Kartik said and gave me a hug.

" Yes." I said.

Everyone sat in the cars and left for airport.

Even I got ready for office and left.

" Yes yes I am coming in 10 minutes. Just show him around the company by then." I told Naina who had called me 5 times since morning.

As soon as I reached there, I went straight to the meeting room.

I met my client and shook hands with him.

We all sat down and had the meeting for good 5-6 hours.

Thankfully, the man was understanding and didn't question me when I told my I had something to do back home.

It was late evening by the time I got free.

The deal was signed today itself or else I would have to wait for a few more days before going there.

Although nobody cares even if I don't go there but still it's my only sister's wedding we are talking about.

I ordered something for myself in the office itself and had my dinner before leaving for home.

I was driving back home when my phone rang.

I connected it to the Bluetooth and continued driving. 

It was Kartik calling me.

" Bro you won't believe what happened today." He said in a real loud and excited voice.

" Did the marriage get fixed??" I asked.
