Ruhanika's POV

Reyansh dropped me off at the office. I was honestly very nervous about today's meeting.

The man we were meeting has never ever shown his face.

He was a mysterious person. Only his few trusted assistants were seen in public.

He never attended any business parties.

He was successful.

Very successful.

His company was the top one. But still he wasn't seen.

I just hope that he agrees to co-operate with us. It will be the best achievement of mine then.

He trusted our company so much that he was personally attending today's meeting.

My eyes fell on the clock.

Shit!!!

Silly me!!!

I didn't even notice the time because of revising the presentation.

It was already 5 mins up the meeting time.

What will he think of?

Why am I so stupid?

I quickly ran towards the meeting room.

In the way to the room, I bumped into 3 people.

Employee.

Cleaner uncle.

Manager of other unit who had hot coffee in his hands but it fell on him.

Well that bastard deserved it for having his dirty eyes on every woman.

First of all I apologised for being late.

I remember Reyansh.

He told me to never say sorry.

But this is work. It's different.

Mr. RM turned around. He was wearing a mask. His eyes seemed familiar.

It was as if they belonged to someone I know. They were pulling me towards them. Asking me to guess them. Recognise them.

He coughed.

My Focus then changed from his eyes to the surroundings. Everyone was staring at me. They must think of me as a creep.

Khadoos introduced me to him.

We shaked hands. Honestly, as soon as I held his hand, my whole body flinched.

My whole body felt the warmth of his hand.

And that was when I remembered my husband.

No no no!!

I can't focus on other men. I am a married woman.

My husband is the best one ever.

He is the hottest one too.

No aire gaire aadmi can ever replace him.

We started the meeting. It was going all good. Everyone was pretty focused. Only my voice could be heard in the whole room.

Everyone's gaze was on me. Just that there were certain gazes that felt weird. A few people looked at me with something else in their eyes. I could feel it.

I didn't know who it was or what it was. Was it lust? Affection? Proudness? It did seem one out of these.

But I shrugged the thought. There were around 10 people staring at me because I am the one presenting. I am the main person. So it doesn't really matter to me.
