Ruhanika's POV
This whole week, I barely had a moment to breathe, let alone relax.
My husband did text me occasionally, but I didn't have much time to chat.
Even my best friend called me during her shopping spree. This girl can't do anything without me, but now she's getting married without me.
It stung a bit, not being there for her, but I was happy she was marrying her dream man.
She showed me their wedding pics—just the couple, no family. I figured she wanted me to meet her family in person, hence no photos.
I focused on finishing the new project, which was about some special 3D glasses that would be mandatory for all schools sponsored by our group.
These glasses would help improve the teaching skills.
I was eager to finish the work and head back home.
I felt a bit homesick.
The past two weeks have been exhausting, with no time to rest at home.
Days flew by, and my best friend got married today.
She sent me a video of her and her husband. He looked so happy and emotional seeing her.
Finally, it was time to go back. I was sitting at the airport, waiting for boarding, when an announcement came through—my flight was delayed.
Annoyance bubbled up. It felt like the universe didn't want me to go back early. Frustrated, I cursed the airport authority in my mind.
Just then, my phone tinged. It was a message from Reyansh.
After the chat, I went back to my colleagues. We had a little talk and grabbed some food. Roaming around the airport, I figured it was the perfect opportunity to do some shopping—something I hadn't had time for in ages.
I browsed through a few dresses, exactly the kind Myra likes.
I thought, why not get her something nice as a wedding gift? She mentioned her husband loves perfumes, so I decided to get him one too.
