ContinuationThe soft rays of the morning sun filtered through the windows of Lisa's studio, casting a warm glow over the room. Jisoo stirred from her sleep, her eyelids fluttering open as she gradually became aware of her surroundings. Blinking sleepily, she shifted slightly and then froze as the events of the previous night came flooding back to her.
She was curled up on the couch, wrapped in Lisa's embrace, their bodies entwined in a tangle of limbs. A blush crept onto Jisoo's cheeks as she realized their close proximity, feeling a mixture of embarrassment and contentment at the same time.
Carefully, Jisoo tried to extricate herself from Lisa's embrace, not wanting to disturb her sleep. But as she moved, Lisa stirred, her eyes fluttering open as she felt the movement beside her.
"Good morning, Jisoo," Lisa murmured, her voice husky with sleep.
"Morning," Jisoo replied softly, offering a shy smile in return.
Lisa stretched lazily, a smile gracing her lips as she sat up, allowing Jisoo some space to move. Sensing Jisoo's intention to leave, Lisa's hand shot out to grasp her wrist, halting her movements.
"Do you really have to go?" Lisa asked, her gaze searching Jisoo's eyes with a hint of reluctance.
Jisoo hesitated for a moment, feeling torn between the desire to stay and the responsibilities waiting for her outside the studio. "I wish I could stay longer, but I have a press conference for my new drama promotion," she explained, a hint of regret coloring her voice.
Lisa's expression softened, understanding the importance of Jisoo's commitments. But despite the rationality of the situation, she couldn't help but feel a pang of longing at the thought of Jisoo leaving.
"I understand," Lisa said quietly, releasing Jisoo's wrist but pulling her into a warm embrace instead. She rested her forehead against Jisoo's, their breaths mingling in the space between them.
Jisoo melted into the embrace, feeling the warmth of Lisa's body against hers. In that moment, all the worries and responsibilities faded away, leaving only the comforting presence of the person she cared about the most.
"I'll miss you," Jisoo whispered, her voice barely audible.
"I'll miss you too," Lisa replied, her voice equally soft as she held Jisoo close.
Reluctantly, they pulled away from each other, their fingers lingering as they reluctantly let go. With a final smile, Jisoo gathered her belongings and prepared to leave, knowing that they would be reunited again soon.
As Jisoo stepped out of the studio, the warmth of Lisa's embrace still lingered on her skin, a reminder of the love that bound them together despite the distance. And as she made her way to the press conference, Jisoo carried that warmth with her, knowing that no matter where she went, Lisa would always be by her side.
As Jisoo's departure, it left the studio enveloped in a quiet emptiness, Lisa found herself lost in a whirlwind of emotions. The warmth of their embrace still lingered in the air, but now there was a sense of longing that settled in her chest.
With a heavy sigh, Lisa ran a hand through her hair, feeling the weight of Jisoo's absence keenly. Despite knowing the reasons for Jisoo's departure, a part of her couldn't help but wish for more time together, to bask in the comfort of their shared connection just a little while longer.
As she sat there, lost in her thoughts, Lisa's phone rang, breaking the silence of the studio. With a furrowed brow, she glanced at the caller ID, surprised to see Jennie's name flashing on the screen.
