No one's pov :

"Hmph!" Hyunjin stomped while pacing to and fro the length of his bedroom.

"Aww.. don't sulk baby." Yeji wanted to drink her cocoa, that was sitting on the nightstand and accompanying her as another audience of Hyunjin's tantrum.

"But you won~" The ferret ruined his stunning fort creation thrice for he wasn't satisfied with the structure and hot chocolates were prepared by the time he built the fourth one.

"Nevermind. Leave that and take a look at your work." The dancer took a seat inside the large, fluffy and illuminated by strip lights pillow fort while motioning her brother to follow. She was amazed by Hyunjin's creativity.

"Nuh-uh! It's not good." The doubtful dumpling didn't like fake praises.

"Baby, look in my eyes." However, the serious cat was well aware of his insecurities.

Tad frightened by the grim tone, Hyunjin made an eye contact with Yeji as she began,

"Jinnie, you are a really incredible artist. I'm so proud of my brother because whatever he creates, it turns out excellent. This fort is honestly outstanding and so are you.... And whether you won or not, the actual fun of our quality time will be destroying this fort and a pillow fight. Right?"

Hyunjin started blankly at Yeji, dumbfounded. How the girl managed to transform the speech from genuine complements to a mischievous plan, got Hyunjin's wires crossed.

Yeji sneered at his naivety, but continued,

"We'll certainty knock down this castle and have a pillow fight in the end. But as for now, please come in and let's have hot chocolates. Ugh! They've turned cold because of your tanty." She whined as her efforts had cooled down.

The male, not wanting to spoil the mood anymore, silently complied and crawled into his model.

"Good boy." She smiled at her brother and patted his head softly while both were relishing their cocoa drinks.

After a few sips, Yeji found it the apt opportunity as she called, "Hyun."

"Yea?" He shifted his attention towards his sister and tilted his head slightly in confusion.

"Who was he?" Yeji knew that being this straightforward had both pros and cons. But she preferred not wasting time, over Hyunjin's trembling, as it was already getting late and the night was growing darker.

On the other hand, Hyunjin chocked on his hot chocolate as he wasn't expecting to start their conversation with this question. His eyes were brimming with water and he was unable to find his voice.

"I know that the question is giving you heebie-jeebies as you're so sensitive, but we have a lot to discuss. That's why, I asked directly." Yeji clasped Hyunjin's hands in hers and gave them occasional squeezes, in an attempt to decrease his shaking and fear.

The elder nodded as he felt his senses functioning to grasp what the other said. He inhaled sharply, before replying, rather whispering,

"J-Jaxon."

Yeji pulled out one hand and began caressing Hyunjin's back with it while telling,

"You did well baby. I'm proud of you. Thanks for telling me."

The ferret opened his previously shut eyes and huddled closer to his haven, when both of them had emptied their mugs. Yeji placed them on the nightstand once again and nestled the elder in her arms comfortably. The softness of the pillows, calm odour of Yeji's scent, security provided by her gentle yet strong arms, and lightness achieved by unleashing his worries after so long, were enough to keep him stable.
