Yeji's pov (1st person) :

"I'ma grab ramyeon now. AND YOU'RE COMING ALONG!"

"Alright, alright. Chillax!" I couldn't deny her convincing gaze, yet the non coaxing words.

"I dunno how such a sweetie like you can stomach down the bitterness of chocolates?" Was that a rizz? Because I was flattered by the compliment.

She faced me and smirked at my blush. "You see, a hottie like me craves for spicy food, but then I turn this red." I nudged her playfully for boasting.

"Such a tease." I airily scoffed.

"But you love me~" I rolled my eyes.

We reached our final destination of today's six-hour date. Honestly, spending time with her was the best part of all the dates, whether it was window shopping or simply a walk under the moonlight. Love between us was purely binded by mere aspects like trust, comfort, understanding, and nothing sophisticated required. She was magical and her charms could bloom flowers even if my life was subjected to autumn. I was blessed with an angel by my side.

We entered our beloved convenience store, where she first proposed me, much to my delight, out of nowhere. Presently, while she was getting ramyeon, I found seats for us near the glass window, which exposed the lush undergrowth adorned with Hibiscus Syriacus grown in the outdoor landscape, that appeared dimmer due to the retiring hours of the Sun.

Nature, in my opinion, was a piece of paradise. I really appreciated the serenity and ease it provided, yet in the long run, people found leisure in synthetic pursuit. They stopped investing time in admiring the beauty of the flora and fauna, rather began wasting time in their respective hectic lifestyles, crammed with pressure and stress.

My green thoughts were broken off by an incoming call from Felix. Why would he call me? It was highly unusual of him to do so. Anyways, I accepted it and brought the device close to my ear.

"He-"

"It's urgent. Come to Changbin hyung's house as soon as possible."

Said that, the call ended with a beep. Without giving it a second thought, I immediately stood up and walked towards the exit.

"Ji? Where are you rushing?" Oops! I forgot to inform her.

"Ryu, I'm going to Changbin oppa's house as Felix called me and told that there's an emergency and they need me." I trotted out as she was accompanying me while walking.

"Ah!.. What's wrong?"

"No idea." "He just said everything like a rap and hanged up. His voice was kinda hushed and anxious."

She hummed at my explanation.

"You don't need to tag along. I'll manage. Don't ruin your day."

"No nutty concerns. It's my decision. I can't leave you in trouble alone."

I nodded as I didn't have any choice. My heartbeats were unstable due to the sudden dread. But I suddenly felt the warmth that I needed to calm myself, Ryujin took my hand in hers. My little devilish angel.

We were fortunately not too far from his residence, so we made it in ten minutes. I hurried towards the living room with my fastest pace until now.

The instant when we reached there, my breath hitched in the throat. The sight was more frightening than my most horrible nightmare. My mouth and eyes, both widened. The irregular throbbing in my chest was supplemented by uncontrollable ringing in my ears.
