Work went by smoothly, despite the fact that my manager kept asking about my relation with Toji. He asked whether we were dating, friends, relatives, soulmates (like huh?), and even roommates. I just gave a smile to end the topic and gave in to FALSELY admitting that we are friends. Ooh, shudder.

I packed my things and organized my desk before packing to go home. I heard murmurs coming from outside and I let out a frustrated moan 'cause I didn't bring a freaking umbrella. I had nothing to cover my head with except my bag but it wasn't leather and just a tote bag instead, so everything inside will get wet. I had no choice so I went outside. The rain was still too strong so I stood still and waited for it to calm down a bit.

The mist flying on my face suddenly went away when something covered my head and a little bit at front. I looked beside me and there was a Toji with a lollipop in his mouth with a frown on his face. I looked away.

"You don't need to do that." I said.

"Why? No one is looking." He threw the stick on the ground and left the candy in his mouth.

"Hey, pick that up and throw it in the trash can!," I frowned at him. He raised his eyebrows and spoke.

"It's a small stick, no one's even going to see that!"

"That's still LITTERING." I said. He sighed and picked it up then threw it into the nearest trash bin. He smiled sarcastically and showed a thumbs up before frowning again.

"It's getting late. You should get home." He said while looking up at the strong rain. It wasn't going away anytime soon.

"I'll be fine. You go." I said. He looked at me as if I said something stupid. I rolled my eyes and was about to run with my bag but he handed me the umbrella forcefully then he ran towards the rain.

"T-TOJI!" I shouted. He laughed then faced me while his body was all wet. He waved at me.

"Treat me to ice cream next time!" Then he ran off.

I took off my shoes and wore slippers before walking inside my apartment. I left the umbrella outside for a moment as I put down my things. I then came back to hang it outside my door. It had a pretty shade of black and had the cursive mark "T" on the tip of the handle.

And for the first time since I moved in, a smile appeared on my lips, not really understanding what I was feeling.

But it disappeared when I remembered I had to treat him to ice cream for it. Damn it.
