"He kicked!" Toji said while he rested his hand onto my tummy. We were in the bedroom, already resting after a long day. I smiled and brushed my hand onto his hair while enjoyed playing with out baby in my tummy. He kissed my belly and caressed it again. "Only if I can hold you right now." He whispered. 

I chuckled. "I wonder if Takeru will still be scared of you when he sees you like this."

Toji looked up at me with a frown and I just laughed. I leaned in to give him a kiss on the lips. He sat up and moved beside me so that he can kiss me better. I wrapped my arms around his neck while his hand rested on my belly. I smiled when we stopped and I rested my head on his chest. 

"Honey?" 

"Hm?" He responded. I sat up and looked at him with teary eyes. "Yumiko? What's wrong?"

I smiled a little. "I... haven't told you about something yet." I pulled out an envelope on the drawer in my bedside table. I gave it to him and held my hands together in nervousness. "That was... something that the doctor saw during ultrasound." 

Toji seriously read the reports that Dr. Kaeru wrote for me during that day. I could see Toji's grip on the paper become even tighter as he read even further. I couldn't hold back my tears. Toji looked at me worriedly. 

"Dr. Kaeru said... it was still a miracle, that I was able to carry our baby despite my condition. My... womb was not really compatible for childbirth. So... t-there's a chance that.. o-one of us--"

Toji hugged me. I cried out loud, but my cries were muffled by his arms. Even though I couldn't see him, I could tell that he was crying too. "Don't say a word... Shh... It's okay." He soothingly said while brushing my hair with his hands. 

"He's a miracle." He said. "A blessing." I smiled upon hearing those words from him. Please worry about him more than you worry about me. That's all I want him to do, no matter how selfish. I smiled softly. "Megumi."

I looked up at him upon hearing him say that. That's... a very perfect name. For a blessing and a little miracle. The baby kicked when Toji said that, and we both giggled and put our hands on my tummy. He kissed my forehead while his eyes were still tearing up. 

"Let's name him Megumi."

The next day, we went to my parents' house to announce to them the big news. As usual, my cousins went to Toji and played with him. He gave me a 'help me' look when my girl cousins pulled him towards their 'tea party' area. I chuckled and waved at him and he looked so helpless. 

"He will be a sweet father." My mom said. I smiled.

"Yes, he will." I said. 

My mom and I went to the balcony and I watched the trees dancing along with the wind. I proceeded on telling my mom about the conflict of my pregnancy. The chances were around 60-40, the 60% of survival being Megumi's. She's shown worry when I told her about it, then she fell silent. After a few minutes of silence, she spoke.
