Cherish It All

They both shared a bottle before going to bed. Sky laid on the bed slowly. He was almost at the edge. Pai watched him before he took steps to lay down beside him. The space between them was huge and one person needed to pull closer but no one took that initiative. Sky laid with people regularly, he talked about their secrets aspirations but getting to his lover, he just couldn't bring himself to. Pai smiled seeing the headstrong Sky being defensive to his heart.
He got up, and moved into the bed. He grabbed Sky by his hand and before he could react Sky was facing him eyeball to eyeball.
"I said we shouldn't do anything but that doesn't mean we can't be normal."
" And what's normal for us?"
" Kisses, at least I know that much."
" Are you that kiss deprived?"
" Yes I am. Your kisses give me strength."
" I..."
"Please, but if you don't want to, I won't force you. Let's just sleep facing each other."
" In a scale of 0- 10 how much will my kiss save you?"
" If there's a higher scale I think I'll keep pushing it." Sky smiled
" Today we cuddle, tomorrow we'll go all out, deal?"
" I will not argue with you fair judge." Sky opened his hands to let Pai in. Sky's arms went for his head for protect and the other hand held his slender waist. That was his favourite body part of Sky. His hands fit perfectly in like a glove. In his mind he always said this is my place, my hand right by you, holding onto you like my life depends on it." Sky walked into Pai's life like an after thought but now he became the main thing residing there. Nothing made him happier. Sky was enough, he was more than enough. He was complete. He held him tight with Sky hugging his body too.
Rain sat comfortably on Payu's legs. Looking straight at him.
" I know why you guys are friends now?"
" Me and Sky?"
" He's reliable. He could take a bullet for you."
" He already has, twice." Rain's eyes widened he got up and sat beside Payu. " Twice?"
" Unhesitatingly too."
" And you still turned him down when he asked you out?"
" Well, he has options. Sky is too good to settle with me. He sees things with only my perspective he needs to experience others."
" When did this happen? The shooting?" Payu went to grab a bottle and poured some wine for Rain and himself. They both drank as he began to explain his story
" During training. I picked Sky to be my partner thinking it was going to be one of this pairing up together trainings.  But we were giving papers to pick. I picked the blue and he picked the red. Those that picked the red were made to be protected by the ones with the blue. It was my duty to protect Sky. We were given guns. I thought they were fake until Sky stood in front of me when I was absent minded and took a bullet for me. I shot the person and we won the game. Only to find out it wasn't a game and Sky was really bleeding out. We were saved and he survived but I never took anything for granted since then. It wasn't about the game but protecting your important person."
" You both really went through a lot."
" Yes we did."
" I don't think I come close at all." Rain said as he turned his face.
" Please don't compare. It's two compltely different scenarios and it's obvious that I love you."
"You love me?"
"No, I mean really cherish you."
" Why are you so afraid to actually say it?"
" It comes with a lot of weight and I do not want to say it purposelessly. I want it to mean something to you as it does to me."
" What if it already does now."
" Can you wait a bit then. I'll say with with much boldness soon. " To Payu, this meant achieving a feat worthy of Rain's love. Rain on the other hand didn't need this gesture. He just wanted him to be with him. He smiled and sat back on his lap playing with his hair. Rain felt euphoric doing this. It was simple but it meant a lot to him.
Four months back, they got into a restaurant. Payu came in as his body guard. Rain saw his hair was out of place and tried to fix it back. Payu saw this as a threat and held Rain's hand almost breaking it. " No one touches my hair!" His voice was fierce Rain dropped his  hands and head. He acted like it didn't hurt but deep down he was broken. Now he was here holding his hair and there was no reaction. This trip was worth every second. They both eventually went to sleep.
In the middle of the night, Sky woke up. He freed himself from Pai's strong grip. Gave him a kiss on his forehead and left the room with one of the bags he carried on the journey. He gave a long speech earlier about not getting physical because he knew he need his strength. He went to Payu's room and knocked, before long Payu came out with a bag as well. And they both snuck to another part of the island. One of the waiters who wanted to ease himself came down and saw both men sneaking away. And the worst came into his mind that they were cheating on their partners!

" I think we have enough weapons to take down as much men that Taytie sends. He's just going to send some tonight as he says it will  be a test run."
" Should we go to the other part of the Island?"
" Rain and Prapai will be fine, they'll be knocked out till afternoon so we have to get this over and done with."
" Do you think he sent people here already or we're just going to be on a lookout?"
" I think the threat is to really scare us, we'll be fine for now. But I'd kill anyone who threatens my peace." Sky said without hesitation. They both stayed out for long without any threat so they returned. On returning, the waiter stayed quietly monitoring them. Sky got out cleaning his body and so did Payu, trying to get the dust off. Payu nearly slipped and Sky grabbed him. The waiter took out his phone and videod them. They really looked rough so all evidence pointed to cheating
" I feel so bad for my bosses bringing cheating men with them." He said.

Sky ran into his room took off all his clothes and went in for a shower. On getting out he tried to change back to his clothes but noticed Pai was getting up so he dived into the bed, naked and all. He realised too late and as he was about to leave Pai said " is this how you want it? Nong Sky."
