"You know I'm not going to break" I say to Ren as he lifts me from my chair to the car, refusing to allow me to transfer. "You're still healing if I remember correctly, so you shouldn't be doing much," he reminds me as he dismantles my chair, placing it in the back before getting in himself.

"I was worse when we first met, yet you didn't coddle me then," I look at him with my brows raised in question. "Yeah, well I wanted to but getting a harassment charge from you the first day I met you in work. Then in the club I saw you and was instantly drawn to you but you were on Raine like a koala so I was not going to try steal his man. As soon as I saw it was you I couldn't help myself, I just knew you had to be mine," he rambles on as we speed through the city towards work.

"I'm still confused as to what you see in me, I'm wheelchair bound with a feeding tube. I'm a 4 at best in general, and I have enough health problems to probably write a novel," I look at my hands as they tremor a bit, I never did react well to people complimenting me.

"I feel you are never going to believe me in what I see in you so I am just going to skip over this conversation for a few hours until work is over. Is that ok with you?" he asks me as we pull into the car park at work.

I nod, he is right this will take many conversations and raise our stress levels before work is less than ideal. "Yeah, it's gonna take a lot of conversations for me to believe you to be honest," I tell him before he gets out. He smiles at me before closing the door and beginning the process of putting my chair together, how he knows how to do it so quickly baffles me, he's faster than I am.

"If you need changing let me know and I can help, I don't want you hurting yourself trying to change yourself. It is no problem for me helping, I promise," he tells me sincerity in his eyes as he transfers me over to my chair.

"If you baby me I'll never get better," I pout, making him laugh at me. "Well you are my baby Ellie. Joking aside, I want to help you heal in the safety of a controlled environment, not the businesses one wheelchair accessible bathroom that doesn't have accommodations to help you change yourself," he raises a row in challenge.

I roll my eyes before giving him a peck on the cheek. "I appreciate it, I truly do. I'm just not used to it," I say to him as we head towards the elevator. The ride up the elevator is silent until we get to my floor.

"Do you need help emptying out your cubicle?" he asks me as I begin to roll out. "No thank you Sir, I should be fine," I say looking pointedly at the others in the lift. He nods in response as the doors slowly shut.

Shaking my head at his cuteness, I head towards my cubicle and am shocked when I find someone waiting for me. I sigh when I look up and see Nora glaring daggers at me, maybe daggers is an understatement, more like death lasers.

Plastering a smile onto my face I look at her, "Hi Nora, how can I help you?" I ask, my usual method of killing people with kindness seems to not be working on her because she rolls her eyes at me before crossing her arms.

What she doesn't know is she looks like an overgrown toddler having a tantrum but I am not going to be the one to inform her of this as I feel we may already have issues that I am unaware of.

"How dare you do this to me," she demands, stomping her foot, making herself look even more like a toddler. I shove the laughter down my throat and tilt my head in confusion.

"I'm afraid I haven't got a clue what you're talking about. Could you elaborate a little bit?" I ask after a moment of silence. "You know what you did, because of you I have been demoted and have to do stupid classes," she snaps at me, pure anger filling her eyes.
