20 - forgiving you

I soon started to loose sight of Nick a bit more.

He would sometimes run off somewhere leaving me by myself most of the time.

I didn't really mind tho.

I leaned on the kitchen door frame and went on my phone, still listening to the music.

I looked around, spotting Chris on the couch.

He was sprawled across the couch, looking at Tania with drunk droopy eyes.

Tania was sitting next to him, tugging at his hoodie string, twirling it around her finger, as she's pulling him closer.

I couldn't believe my eyes, but to be honest, I wasn't that surprised and I don't know why I'm still standing here watching them.

I get a sick feeling in my stomach.

I watched him as he giggled softly at Tania's presence.

They get really close and Chris suddenly fixates his eyes on me.

He quickly goes from slouching to sitting up straight and trying to fix himself.

He looks back up at me.

I looked at him with a disappointed look, I knew this would happen anyway.

He stands up not taking his eyes off me.

Tania looked at Chris confused, wondering why he shot up so fast.

I walked away frustrated as I heard fast footsteps approaching me.

Chris suddenly grabs my wrist as he pins me against the wall, making my stomach feel things and get goosebumps all around my body.

I look up at him hovering over me.

"Chris I can't keep forgiving you like this" I say upset.

He stares deeply at me as he looks back and forth between my eyes.

"Vic." He replies, his voice nearly whispering, placing his hand on the wall above me.

I couldn't get any words out with the tension between us.

Fuck I always let this happen. Always ending up forgiving him, knowing damn well I shouldn't I thought to myself.

I stared at his dull eyes, admiring every bit of him.
