                            "One for her highness."

The Rivalry between Kooks and Pogues was a tradition routed in pure hatred. For decades, the people of Figure Eight basked in their riches, too selfish to provide anything to the less fortunate. Of course, there were a select few who shunned the crowds and held out a helping hand. But it was fewer than many.

The annual Boneyard kegger was notorious for a momentary ceasefire.

No matter status or background, the children of the Outer Banks and its tourists, came together. That didn't mean all grieves were forgotten. For, the annual kegger often ended in the annual pummelling.

"Why thank you, kind Sir." Kingsley nodded her head, a giggle escaped her parted lips. Taking the plastic solo cup from Kelce's hand.

In the mere minutes of her attendance, the girl had already downed enough drinks to feel the buzz, Kingsley was the people's princess and deserved to celebrate the occasion━━ Whatever the occasion was.

         "Kings."

"Oh for God's sake." Kingsley grimaced.

Rafe Cameron would always find Kingsley Delaware amongst the crowd━━ True, it helped they shared acquaintances. Kingsley was cursed, that must be the reason. She was being punished for the riches she had been given. Don't they say everything comes with a price?

On the sunny side, he held two cups in his hands. "Always so pleased to see me, aren't you, Kings?"

Kingsley smirked, amused by his attempts to rile her. "Yeah, it's a pleasure."

She took the drink from his hand, it still offered out to her. Kingsley had missed the sensation of Pogue sourced alcohol, the burn perfectly paired with the bitterness. It soothed her, like a steaming hot coffee on a cold winter evening.
