Naruto: sasori's successor.

chapter 1: the trip to the hidden sand.

A 7-year-old Naruto was paid a visit by his grandfather figure the 3rd Hokage Hiruzen Sarutobi to inform him he would be leaving the village for a meeting with another kage from another village. This upset Naruto as there would be little protection for him from the Hokage's Anbu guards since they have to go with him on this trip to Suna.

However, when Hiruzen said he wouldn't be alone and asked Naruto to accompany him he was all too excited.

Naruto packed for a month-long trip while Hiruzen had already bought him most of the essentials like food and water that a growing child needed.

They left the next day with Anbu surrounding them on all sides.
Hiruzen knew the people's hatred for the 9-tailed fox and believed Naruto to be the 9-tailed fox in human form.

So he decided to see how Naruto would react to others from a different village and vice versa. As the trip progresses Hiruzen told Naruto that each of the villages had their own kage and each country it's own rulers called daimyo.

Naruto's attention span was not entirely small, he was after all still just a child and like all children, were curious.

Hiruzen then continued and said.

"As I've mentioned already, each village has its own kage. There is the sand village whose leader is the Kazekage whose unique bloodline is magnet release but most of their finest shinobi are wind users, the stone village has their tsuchikage whose ability is particle style and could give the first hokage's wood release a run for his money.
They specialize in earth-based jutsu.

Then you have the hidden cloud whose specialty is mostly lighting release but on rare occasions, a storm release user will show great promise and be taught black lighting. Storm release is the combination of water and lightning chakra nature then you have several different clans from the mist village with several different bloodline abilities but most of them are kenjutsu and water Jutsu users. Their leader is the Mizukage.

And then there is myself the hokage of the leaf village where most of our shinobi specialty my clan in particular, are fire-style specialists. Before you ask if you have any unique abilities like the ones I mentioned, you must first know of the 5 basic chakra nature transformations. Water, fire, earth, wind, and lightning.

A perfect example of a sub-elemental bloodline would be wood release which is earth and water chakra combined some are born with bloodline limits others spend years trying to mix their elements to create a sub-elemental jutsu.

The hidden sand had a scorch release user named Pakura. With it, she could dry out the moisture of her enemies or disintegrate them. Scorch release is a mixture of wind and fire chakra elements. Magnet release is wind and earth release which can be used to magnetize other metal objects.

The hidden sand is also very well-known for its puppet-style users as well. Their best puppet user went rogue a few years after the 3rd shinobi war ended. His name was Sasori, and he could command hundreds of puppets.

But like my student Orochimaru, he was caught doing human puppet experiments and was forced to become a rogue ninja of the Hidden Sand Village."

Naruto then said.

"Wow old man.You know a whole lot about the world and it's villages.
It's no wonder you are the Hokage.
The greatest in the village. Do you think I'll become as strong as you one day???."

And Hiruzen said.

"If you study hard and keep at it I'm certain you will become a great ninja my boy. It's one thing to be strong but being strong is not What makes a great Hokage. What makes every Kage great in their way is how much experience and wisdom they have gained in life.
