Naruto: sasori's successor.

chapter 2: a map to forbidden knowledge

Naruto followed Sasori's map to his workshop and realized that it was locked with a chakra seal so he pushed his chakra into the seal and heard the door click indicating that it was now unlocked and accessible to him.

Naruto then entered the workshop and after the door closed the seal re-engaged locking people out behind him.

Naruto's eyes widened as he read through several scrolls of weapon integration poisons and how to make poisoned weapons including senbon, kunai, katana, and shuriken.

He also realized that if he mastered his chakra control and used his chakra element he could kill several enemies without sacrificing his puppets.

He found a storage scroll and sealed Sasori's knowledge into it for later.
He then read all the forbidden scrolls on human puppet experiments and what was required. All the chemicals needed were in the workshop storage closet.

After sealing them into another storage scroll he began carving out a new puppet to keep himself company.

He had continued carving a look-alike of his father the 4th Hokage based on the images and stone heads he had seen in history books of past Hokage in the academy even though he rarely paid attention in class involving other history subjects he paid attention to the history of the Hidden Leaf village Hokage's.

But once he's studied and mastered Sasori's techniques he would not need his wooden puppets for battle.

He would turn his enemies into his personal weapons flesh blood bones and organs making them feel alive while he was in control of them the entire time.

First, he needed the forbidden scroll of seals to access the reanimation jutsu of the second Hokage.  Then, he needed to study the art of seals since it was his clan's specialty after all.

Then finally, he needed weapons that each of his enemies used but for his father's puppet body he needed several 3 pronged kunai with flying Raijin jutsu seals on them. His mother, however, was different as all he needed was a sword.

If the 3rd Hokage knew what Naruto was planning, he'd have realized it was a mixture of both Orochimaru and Sasori's experiments combined.

The implications of such knowledge were frightening and Kami save the poor souls of the people Naruto's jutsu would kill before he got his hands on their bodies and souls.

Learning several jutsu was easy. But combining them was difficult. Naruto finished his puppet sealed it into a storage scroll and kept it secret from the 3rd Hokage until they returned to the leaf village to do his experiments based on the exact instructions of Sasori's research and development of his jutsu.

Naruto then left the workshop Sasori left behind and locked it back up making sure nobody was watching or around to see.  Finding the coast was clear he made his way back to the Kazekage's residence just in time for dinner.

Acting as though nothing interesting happened he convinced everyone that he spent several hours reading about puppets and famous puppet users and simply lost track of time during his stay at the library as he said to the Hokage.

"Sorry Hokage Jiji.  I just couldn't stop reading about several different applications for puppets in ninja battles.

I also learned that if I have a specific chakra nature I can change the color of the chakra strings to that specific chakra nature and make the techniques more deadly in battle. How cool would it be if I had a wind element fire element or even a lightning element and used it to defeat enemy ninjas and bandits???."

Hearing this, Rasa spoke up and said.

"Naruto. You are a bit of a slow study but you have great talents to be a strong ninja one day. I know someone who could teach you more about puppets.
