Liam and Phoenix stood together at the
alcohol section in the supermarket, scratching their heads and looking a little lost. Liam was technically still seventeen and underage, while Phoenix was older than everyone in the shop, but looked underage.

"What are we getting?" Phoenix asked, unaware that a shop assistant watched them from the other end of the aisle.

"I have no idea. I should've asked Athena to come with us," Liam replied, looking at the spirits, ciders, and beers, not knowing what anyone wanted to drink.

"Just get Vodka, I wanna get drunk tonight" Zayn's voice echoed in their heads. "Oh, and some rum. Athena's demands. Oh and some mixers too."

The boys shuffled down the aisle, searching the alcohol when the shop assistant approached them.

"Are you guys planning on buying anything here today?" she asked, already knowing the answer and what she would say next.

"Yes," Liam croaked, clearing his throat. It has been a while since he was in the eye of humans.

"Can I see some identification please?" The woman glanced at Liam, staring him down.

"Um, we don't have any on us," Phoenix said quietly, already beginning to remove himself from the situation.

"Well, you can't buy any if you can't prove your age. Sorry boys." The woman turned and moved onto her next victims, a group of women who looked to be in the party mood. Some had already started eyeing up the muscular
werewolves.

"We're gonna have to send the adults," Phoenix muttered as they hurried out of the shop and towards the carpark.

Zayn was waiting for them in his dad's car. He insisted on driving instead of using Liam's teleportation abilities.

He enjoyed travelling at a regular speed on occasions.

"Why are you empty-handed?" Zayn asked when Liam climbed in next to him and the hybrid jumped in the back.

"We didn't have any ID on us."

"Oh" Zayn started the engine after rubbing his hands together and warming them up with his breath. "I forget that we still look eighteen. We'll
just send our parents."

"Yeah," Liam sighed, picking at the frayed edges of the seat. The car was getting old and worn down, but it carried a lot of memories for the boys. Zayn sat in this car the day he introduced his parents to his mate, and they sat in this car after Liam first changed into his pup form at college. They have been on many adventures as a family in their car.

"You should've at least got snacks" Zayn
added. "And we are technically adults. I guess these are the flaws to a godly lifeline granted by angels."

"The idea is luxury, but it gets boring sometimes," Phoenix said, watching the streets of the city they barely visit, even though it sits so close.

"I'll be eighteen one day," Liam smiled, holding a few of Zayn's fingers while his hand rested on the gear stick.

"Yeah, in nine hundred and eighty years. Not long to wait," Zayn grinned, leaning over the seat to kiss him before the lights changed.

When the boys reached home, Zayn persuaded his dad to let Liam teleport him to the shop, so he could buy them alcohol and a lot of junk food for when they were drunk.

When Liam left, Zayn rallied his pack together to talk before his mate returned.

"Louis, let's go. You have to be at this meeting." Zayn pulled him away from Harry and into the living room. His pack sat in a semi-circle, all staring at their Alpha. "Do you know what happened today Louis?"
