Ashton's house was big; nothing fancy or anything, but still big. A decent sized garage, big lounge room, kitchen, the bathroom was amazing. It was a lot more... Better than my raggedy old house.

"Do you want a drink?" He asked, walking to the mini bar in the corner. I softly shook my head, standing in the door way.

"Just water."

"Sure. You can sit down if you want. Make yourself at home."

I hesitantly walked to the couches, sitting down and crossing my legs. Ashton made himself a drink, then poured me a cup of water with ice. He walked over to me, handing me my drink and taking a sip of his own.

I watched as he sat in front of me, hazel eyes staring straight back into mine. He was really attractive, but his attitude made him less appealing. If he wasn't a complete douchebag, I'd probably have a little crush on him.

"So you live here with your family?" I asked. He shook his head.

"No, it's just me."

"Whys that?"

"I like to be alone." He shrugged, taking a drink. I nodded.

"What about you?"

"I live with my sister." I softly said.

"No parents?" He asked, eyebrows raised.

"They're travelling."

"Right." He softly laughed, shaking his head. I took a drink.

"Whys that funny?"

"No reason." He shrugged again. I sat up straight, leaning in forward.

"Why are you laughing then?" I asked, getting pissed off.

"I just- I find it funny that your parents leave a suicidal girl with her sister. Won't your sister have to pay for your therapy sessions? I mean, I'm assuming you're in therapy?"

"Why the fuck is this any of your business?" I spat, leaning back in the chair. Ashton looked at me, eyes widened in shock at my rude tone.

"Because, I was the one who saved you from jumping off that buil-"

"Oh my god, you didn't save me! You distracted me! Just because you found me on the edge of a building, doesn't mean you're automatically obliged to know about my problems! You're still a complete stranger, Ashton. Stop acting as if you need to know these things, you don't need to know shit all!"

He remained in his seat, eyebrows raised and lips parted ever so slightly. He was shocked. And boy if he wasn't such an ass hole I'd find his shocked face bloody attractive.

Ashton sat up, walking over to where I sat. I watched as he took a seat beside me and glanced up at me.

"I really didn't mean to make you mad. I just... I find it stupid, because your parents should be there for you." He shortly said, hazel eyes softened and pink plump lips still parted.

I looked into his eyes, holding his gaze. My heart was beating hard against my ribcage and my previous anger evaporated from my body. I could feel myself relaxing under his gaze. It was magnificent, yet terrifying. How could this stranger have such an effect on me?

It makes me want to be this close to him all the time. This is crazy. Wow, I can feel the energy pulsating through my veins. It's beautiful.

Or perhaps there's something in my drink.

"Aubry, are you okay?" He asked.

I snapped out of my gaze, pulling away and clearing my throat.
