Dancing With the Dragons

Yuya smiled happily as he peeked at the crowded stadium from backstage. It was almost time for the Yu-Boys' performance! There were so many people in the audience, waiting to watch the show!

One of the girls in the audience noticed Yuya peeking from backstage, and the tomato could hear her squeal, "I LOVE YOU YUYA!" The tomato smiled and ducked back behind the stage, almost bumping into Zarc. "Careful, lil brother!"

"Sorry, Zarc!" Yuya rubbed the back of his head. "I'm just so excited!"

Zarc smiled, then noticed something a bit behind Yuya. His golden eyes widened, and he quickly placed a hand on Yuya's back and started guiding him away, "C'mon, let's go see how Yuto's doing, hm?"

"Oh, okay!" Yuya said, letting Zarc guide him away. As they walked, Zarc casually looked behind them and gave a soft, barely noticeable sigh of relief. Fortunately Yuya didn't seem to notice, being too excited about the show to realize that something had just happened.

"Hey, Yuto!" Yuya said, waving to the eggplant-head when he saw him. Yuto looked up and smiled. "Oh hey, Yuya, Zarc! What's up?"

"We just wanted to see how you were doing!" Yuya said happily. Zarc looked at Yuto and mouthed something, and Yuto seemed to understand. He walked over and grabbed Yuya's hand, gently pulling him towards the other side of the backstage. "I'm doing great! What about you? How are you feeling?"

"Super excited!" Yuya said, following Yuto. "I can't wait for the show to start!"

The crowd screamed in excitement when the Yu-Boys began their performance. The first song was the new one that Yuya had written, called Dancing With the Dragons. The four boys performed a choreographed dance as they sang:

A dragon with power to enslave.

With scales of jewel-like splendor,

The crowd went wild, enjoying the performance. Yuya's heart raced in his chest from the sheer exhilaration he always felt from performing. This was the life!

Three hours later, the show was coming to an end. But there was one more thing to do before the boys left the stage. Yuto glanced off-stage at Zarc, who gave a nod.

"Now, before this show comes to an end, there's one more thing we want to do!" Yuto said. Yuya blinked in confusion. He hadn't been aware of this happening.

"Yes. Yuya, remember yesterday, when we said there would be a surprise for you from Dad?" Yuri said, smiling at his little brother. Yuya's eyes widened. "Wait, are you serious? You're finally going to tell me?"

"Well, not tell," Yugo said as he, Yuto, and Yuri pointed towards stage-left. Yuya looked over and saw—

"DAD!" Yuya ran towards his father, who had just stepped onstage. The tomato-head tackled Yusho in a hug, crying from happiness at him being there. "Dad, I missed you!"

"I missed you too, Yuya!" Yusho said, hugging Yuya. "I missed all of my boys!" He held his arm out to the rest of his sons, who happily hurried over and hugged him. The crowd cheered at the group hug, and there were certainly plenty of photos and videos being taken of the family.

Zarc chuckled. "You know, the surprise was almost ruined earlier backstage! Dad was behind you, and we had to get you to the other side backstage so that you wouldn't notice him!"

"This is the best night ever!" Yuya cried. The surprise was SO worth the wait!
