By the time the movie ended, all four of the younger Sakaki brothers were bouncing in their seats. It had been the best Phantom Duels movie so far! There was so much action and excitement that the four quadruplets simply couldn't sit still.
Zarc and Yusho both chuckled when the family left the theater, amused by the quadruplets' excitement. The four youngest Sakakis were eagerly discussing the movie together.
"Oh man! Can you believe how good it was!" Yugo crowed. "When the Phantom was nearly defeated, but he managed to summon his ace and win! Oh, that was so exciting!"
"I know right?" Yuya squealed. "I mean, Yuri read us the books, so we knew it was coming, but still! it was so fun seeing it in action!"
"Yeah, and it was exactly like how I imagined it in the books!" Yuto said, bouncing on his heels. "I still can't believe how accurate and faithful the movies are to the books! Normally movie adaptions take creative liberties." He pouted furiously, and Yuri giggled. "You're still mad about how badly the Knights of Darkness movies butchered the books, aren't you?"
Yuto's favorite book series was a set of gothic novels about phantom knights, and he'd been super excited when he'd found out that there was going to be movies made about them. Unfortunately, the movies had turned out to be an utter disappointment, and had been pretty much nothing like the books. What's worse, the movie producers had insisted on butchering the second and third books as well, before finally calling it quits.
"Literally the ONLY good scene in that ENTIRE film series was the tavern scene in the first movie!" Yuto pouted. "I hate, hate, hate those movies!"
"Well, whaddaya boys say we go grab some lunch?" Yusho interjected, knowing that Yuto would go on a seven-hour rant about the Knights of Darkness movies if he wasn't stopped. "Where do you wanna go to eat?"
"Oh, maybe you should pick," Zarc said quickly. "The quadruplets can never agree on a place together unless it's a buffet, and we just ate at one the other day."
"Yeah, you pick someplace, Dad!" Yuto said, rage about the butchering of his favorite series forgotten. Yuri, Yugo, and Yuya all chimed in their agreement and crowded around their father. Yuri piped in, "And no circus peanuts! We want real food!"
Yusho laughed. "Why don't we go to The Hot Pot Spot?" he suggested. His five sons all lit up excitedly. "Sound good?"
"Yeah!" the quadruplets exclaimed in unison. Zarc grinned and said, "Perfect! Alright, Yuya, throw your empty popcorn tub away and we'll go!"
"It's not empty though," Yuya confessed, blushing a little. "There's still some popcorn in it..."
His brothers all stared at him in disbelief. "No. Way," Yugo gasped. "You actually managed to make it through the entire movie without eating all your popcorn? Yuya, are you feeling alright? Popcorn's like... your favorite food!"
Yuya laughed, "I'm okay, don't worry Yugo! I just wanted to make sure I had enough popcorn to eat until the very end, and I guess I made it all the way through! It's only like a couple handfuls left, anyway."
"Well, why don't I help you then?" Yugo said, reaching towards Yuya's popcorn bucket. To which Yuya shrieked and batted his hand away furiously. "NO! NO! MY POPCORN! MINE!" He began stuffing popcorn into his mouth frantically, trying to eat it all before Yugo could steal any.
Yugo just laughed and held up his hands in surrender. Yuya continued eating his popcorn, glaring balefully at his blunana brother. After a few minutes, he looked down into his bucket and said, "Alright, that's the last of it! Let's go!"
