Part 5: the maze

In season 2 part 4, Jones has a nightmare about a world in terrible danger and his friends disappearing. He then is woken up by geno, who has a knife against his neck. When jones realizes who this is he is punched in the face and he goes back into his mind, while this was going on, slone was not able to sleep because she had a lot on her mind, stuff about her past. Slone used to be a major villain to jones so him trusting her in the beginning was a huge surprise to her. But then again, jones had no one else to trust. So the entire night slone struggled thinking whether she is worthy of trust. When slone woke up to jones gone, she knew geno did it. So her and shimmerdusk set out to get jones. After interrogating the trespassers at TLR bases, they found that he was near kado's base. So after a while of looking inside, they eventually go outside find jones near the maze

Another vision, this time of slone. "How do you know you can trust me," vision slone says "because you're my friend, well... more of an ally but you get what I mean," jones says. "Are you sure I won't manipulate you, just like I used to do," vision slone says. "I know you have changed, I know because I did the same thing you did, leave," jones says. It's silent for a while. "Very well," vision slone says. Vision slone then turned into something else, mid transformation she said something, but it was not in her voice. "But can you trust me?" vision slone says in a familiar voice. As vision slone turns into geno, Jones's face becomes blank, "No...." Jones says. But why not, after all, I did the same thing slone did but you still forgave her?" Vision geno says as he inches closer to Jones's face. "At least she changed," jones says. The vision figure then said something else. "You won't stand a chance against me, I see your fear" the figure says as he takes the form of kado.

"JONES WAKE UP" slone says. "Are you trustworthy" jones says out of nowhere. Slone knows she should not overthink this since jones is really tired right now, but she still thinks about it. "What do you mean?" Slone asks. "Do you deserve my trust?" Jones says. "Well that's your decision jones," slone says. "Well I have decided that you're one of the only people I can trust right now" jones says. When jones tries to hug slone, he is interrupted by shimmerdusk trying to tell them something. "Ok you two, since this place is behind kado's mansion, we should definitely get going. Jones and slone agree. They try to sneak past kado but when they make it past the mansion, kado is waiting for them, "well well well, if it isn't the blonde ding dong, the traitor, and the goth hunter," kado says. "You guys were so easy to follow, To bad you won't be doing anymore running," kado says. As he turns into his revenant form, he then jumps onto the trio, knocking them out.

(This paragraph begins with a memory, what slone and shimmerdusk were talking about after making it to base) Shimmerdusk, she only came to take down kado, but she has made a bond with slone. "So what did kado do that made you not kill him?" Slone said. "He showed me a relic that would help my cause." "I started hunting for the money, and kado showed me a relic that could grant me a wish and fix my problems," "but before I was able make up my mind, I was knocked out by kado," shimmerdusk says. "I came across kado when I was hunting another one of my targets, he was helping the person I was hunting by giving him supplies and letting him borrow relics, but when I finished hunting that other guy, I knew that kado was a huge threat, so my number one goal was to take him down," shimmerdusk says. Shimmerdusk then wakes up in the maze after remembering the memory, both slone and jones were still asleep
