At the start of 1919 many German people were in a class of poornesss as the country crumbles into debt and chaos as many extremist groups formed from revenge against the Weimar politicians who surrendered the war in 1918 as many of the German populace were enraged as they believed their country hadn't lost the war just yet to the Triple Entente.

But it was all to late to turn the war around the German troops were pulling out of Russian soil and the Bolshevik forces were preparing for a full ground invasion of its lost territory and began its offensive to take Minsk from Belorussia and succeeded in doing so but the Polish military was building stronger as many old war veterans from WW1 were going to Warsaw to join the polish army as soldiers and Officers and many as 300,000 men were already in the polish military by 1919 but the Bolsheviks still had a red army of a measly 800,000 men minimum in the Eastern zone while fought the White army in the civil war.

Ukraine also known as the UPR was a weak but stable government with not so strong but building military but they didnt have time to prepare as the Red army encircled and seiged Kiev for 4 cruel months before the Polish came to the aid of their Ukrainian counterparts and they fought off the red army for a long time as they recounterattacked towards Kiev liberating the city.

Meanwhile in central Europe Hungary had been taken over by a communist party and were invading their lost territory but were quickly forced to retreat as Czechiaslovakia, Romania and now the new kingdom of Yugoslavia crushed the Communist Hungarian armies and took Budapest with them forcing them into peace terms for the second time.

Then the most famous treaty in world history the Treaty of Versailles in 1919 was signed by the German Weimar president officially permanently ending the first world war and Alsace Lorraine was recovered to France West prussia and Posen were taken to accounting making the polish corridor which gave Poland a short and fragile access to the sea also having some control of the major port of city of Danzig which was a free city state for the time being. Northern Schleiswig was given to Denmark as free real estate. And smaller territories was taken by Belgium.

The new Weimar republic had lost 11% of its European territory 10% of its population, all of its overseas colonial territories, an army of only 100,000 men no airforce and a small navy of six cruisers 12 battleships and no Submarines and 6 torpedo boats.
Also no armoured vehicles were allowed including cars, trucks and Tanks despite making lots of very good concepts they were all rejected.

Riots broke out in Berlin as the Spartacist revolt caused 100,000 workers to take to the streets and many protesters were violent and took ahold of the city forcing the Weimar politicians to flee Berlin until the Chancellor Ebert gets an idea to gather ex-soldier of the WW1 Germany and create what was known as a Freikorps which were paramilitary units that had a strong opposition to left wing workers and communists like KPD and Rosa Luxembourg who were the leaders of the Spartacist revolts and all workers were cleaned up off the streets but many of the soldiers who were now poor didnt want to unemployed again and resisted being disbanded in Berlin where 5,000 armed men took Berlin and the Weimar politicians were forced to flee Berlin yet again.

The new leader Wolfgang Kapp attempted to invite the exiled Kaiser back to Berlin but the Workers who had no desire to see the Kaiser return strikes meaning there was no running water or electricity in Berlin causing the revolt to collapse and allowing the Weimar politicians to return to Berlin for the second time that year.

Soon the Weimar constitution was signed meaning the official start of the Weimar republic started on the 31st of July 1919 with Ebert as Chancellor of the time. But the government apart of the treaty of Versailles agreement had to give both a stable coal output delivery to France and reparations deadlines to be completed decided that printing more money would help pay off the debts and reparations but they didnt think properly as if you didnt know more money in circulation with the same amount of products available means prices rise to be equal fairly.

In 1914 bread cost one german mark, by 1918 bread cost 4 German marks then by 1919 bread cost 200 German marks then by 1923 bread cost 200 BILLION MARKS because of super hyperinflation as the German mark became absolutely worthless in value to other nationals currency. And German ports for imports and exports became pointless as little to no countries wanted to trade against a currency that is so worthless your better off not even trading with them.
Families watched as their hard earned savings became absolutely worthless. And many more germans starved as they couldn't even afford bread or water but the middle classes were affected the worst as they were the backbone of all german work and economics and with the fall of them the entire economic hierarchy would collapse into a fiery hell of chaos.

Riots and protests continued to fumble around Germany as the Reichswhur failed to contain breakouts and as extremists groups clashed in the streets with hundreds dying every day as the KPD fought against right wing forces like the new NDSAP or Nazi party but were popular in national elections but were beginning to lose popularity as the Nazi party spread false suspicions on the KPD making them perform worse in national elections later on.

The wars in the eastern Europe were getting worse as Poland nearly lost the Battle against the Bolsheviks as their capital was nearly taken but with the help if the outside world mostly from America and France they beat the red army back forcing them to sign a peace treaty with them and giving Poland a lot of land in western Belarus and Ukraine. The Bolsheviks after their polish defeat they defeated the white army and became a complete communist country. The RSFSR, YCCP and the BSPR all United together to make the USSR or Soviet union in 1923.

Italy who was now under the rule of Buneto Mussolini were dissatisfied with there gains after the war as the Allies failed to give all of their promised lands and felt betrayed by the Entente but was planning to gain more land in 1936 after their first failed attempt to take the Abyssinian empire as a colony hopefully making things right the second time round in 1936.

But one war wasnt enough... another war was bound to happen sooner or later and 20 years later the deadliest conflict to date would be caused as the Second World War in 1939-1945. Causing 3% of the worlds population to perish of the face of the earth. Because of one man named Adolf Hitler...
