Avary's POV
*At the grocery store*
As I'm walking with my mom through the grocery store. I start thinking about what daddy said last night.
*Flashback*
I was feeding my baby calf when mom called me into the house for dinner. I finished up and go inside to wash up for dinner. When I'm done washing up I hear my daddy's truck pull up. I run outside to see momma hugging daddy and crying. He has his arms wrapped tightly around her waist. "Momma what's wrong?" I ask her.
"Tonight's daddy's last night at the house for six month's cause daddy's getting deployed again,"Momma said. I run over to were daddy is and he picks me up and hugs me tight he whispers into my ear "it's gonna be alright, I love you and I'll be back very soon baby girl." I'm still in daddy's arms as we walk inside. I can't help but to think. Will daddy come home this time? Will he ever come home? That question always goes through my mind when I hear those four words 'Daddy's getting Deployed again.'
*Skip Dinner... To Bedtime*
Daddy tucks me in, and says "I love you." I start to cry he wipes my tears away and says "I need you to be tough for me I will be back soon." He kisses me on the forehead and turns off the light.
*End of the Flashback*
I know daddy will come home cause he is strong. I look up and see Mellie the famous Bull Rider and Barrel Racer in the checkout line. I run up to her and ask "can I have your autograph?" She says "Sure, what do you want me to sign?" I get all excited and point to my hat. She says "How about you go get your mom and meet me outside the store I have some photo's in my truck." "Okay." I say. I run off screaming "Mommy! Mommy!! I'm so excited." I find momma and I drag her outside. "I'm so sorry she came up to you." Momma says. "It's ok, I don't mind." Mellie says. "What's your name?" Mellie asked me. "Avary." I tell her she responds back and says "My moms name was Avary." She hands me a black bag I open it and scream "I'm so happy!!!!" I hug her and tell her "thank you." Momma and I leave for home. I hope I see Mellie at the rodeo tomorrow.
