As I walked away with the flowers to put them in a vase I couldn't help but smile. I found someone who likes me for me. I walked back to Jake and told him I'll see him after I've gotta get dressed.
*skip to bucking chutes*
JAKES Pov
Walking up the bleachers to sit with my friends. I hear them announce Mellie's name along with mudd slinger the bull. I look to chute number 3, the crowd goes crazy as the chute gate swings open, the bull going crazy spinning and bucking. The buzzer sounds, the pickup men come in trying to get her out from under the rope. Mellie's only hanging on by one hand the bull's still bucking and spinning, Mellie loses her footing and falls underneath the bull still trapped. One of the bull fighters gets close and cuts the rope, freeing Mellie. They get the bull out of the arena and I cant help but go to Mellie. As I get up to her, she's barely breathing the paramedics putting oxygen on her and loading her up in the ambulance.
