Jakes pov

I've never been more worried about my whole life. I can't help but wonder if she'll be ok. I get in my truck and head to the hospital. The whole time different scenarios going through my mind. *BEEP* The sound of a car horn brings me back to the road swerving to miss hitting a car.

Mellies Pov

I get on the back of Mudslinger. My adrenaline has kicked in, my hearts going 90 to nothing. I nod my head and the chute gate opens. Everything's going good. The buzzer sounds. I've made it 8seconds. I try to get my hand free and can't. The pickup men notice and try to help me. But my hand won't come unstuck. I lose my footing and fall underneath the bull with my one hand still stuck. I keep getting stepped on hit. Pain goes through my whole body. Thoughts going crazy in my head. Next thing I know I'm on the ground. Then it goes black.

Ambulance EMT POV

As we get into the arena we can see that she's barely breathing. We put oxygen on her. While holding c spine we get the collar on her. Lifting her into the ambulance. I begin to work on her. Her stats are dropping. I get a good line in. Then her heart stops. She's flatlining I shout. I begin chest compressions. Three minutes go by and I continue chest compressions. We arrive at the hospital. I continue chest compressions, praying that her heart will start beating again. As they wheel her in on the stretcher. Finally we have a pulse.

Jake Pov

*Arriving at the Hospital*

I pull into the hospital. I go running up to the receptionist. My girlfriend was just brought in. I need to be back there. I just said, girlfriend. She's not my girlfriend but I know I don't wanna lose her. I think I have feelings for her. I say to myself in my mind. My thoughts being cut off by the receptionist. What's her name? receptionist asked. Mellie, she was in a bull-riding accident. Yes well I'm sorry sir but only the family can go back, please have a seat. Receptionist said.
