POV Change: Leafa

One month...

It's been one month since Kazuto and Shino disappeared...

I didn't know how to feel when Shino came back that night...

We were all concerned when she and Kazuto got into that argument. I had a feeling one of them was going to storm out of the building in anger, and not surprisingly, it was Shino.

Kazuto went after her one minute after they fought. Guilt written on his face. We expected the two to talk for three minutes before probably hugging it out and coming back in. Instead, all we heard was Kazuto shouting her name three times before being followed by silence.

Silica went out to check on the two, only to find that both Kazuto and Shino were missing and that Shino's rifle was on the ground. We didn't know what to think. Did Shino run off? Was Kazuto shouting her name to come back? Asuna was considering going out to look for them, even though it was going to be midnight in two hours.

About an hour later, Shino came back, with Argo by her side. They both looked roughed up, while Argo had a stab wound in her waist. Everyone had asked what happened, where she went, or why Argo was there.

But I asked where my brother was...

Asada looked as if she didn't want to tell us, but she did. She told us how her friend she'd visit from time to time after the Death Gun incident had come back, kidnapped her and threatened to kill Kazuto and leave the city with her.

Argo had come to the rescue after having followed Shino's friend for a while now. Argo was pinned and stabbed by her friend before Kazuto kicked him off her, only to be shot...

Then he killed her friend...

I didn't know what to think...

My brother had killed somebody again...

Shino would blame herself for what happened, but we knew it wasn't her fault...

But the guilt must have taken over her mind...

The next day had arrived. Asuna and Lisbeth were cooking breakfast for us like they always had since we woke up in this place. We'd wait patiently for Shino to come to the main room to eat with us, as we've always eaten together. Ten minutes went by, and she never came down.

Asuna, who had always treated Shino like she was the younger sister she never had, went to check on her. Before we knew it, We heard Asuna running down the stairs, entering the main room with a scared look on her face.

"Asada's missing!" She shouted, which, of course, caused the rest of us to stand up from the table. Breakfast at that point wasn't important anymore.

After Asuna had told us Shino was missing, we ran out of the café and started looking for her that day.

We couldn't find her...

Even with Yui's help, who was looking for not only Shino but Kazuto as well, we couldn't find her...

The only thing we did find of her was a note she wrote that she hid under her bed's comforter.

"I'm sorry." That was all that was written on the paper.

Since that day, we've continued what we've done for the last 4 months; the only difference this time was, that we were now searching for Kazuto and Shino.

We've had no signs of finding either of them...

Except one day...

When we found Kazuto's black sword, I believe Asuna said the name was Elu...Elucidate...I think. Whatever its name was, it was his sword...

The smell of old dry blood was on the blade and the scabbard. I guess he abandoned the blade, as it reminded him of Shino's friend...

Or at least I hope he abandoned it...

Even though I don't want to believe it...I refuse to believe it...

But he could be...

No...

He isn't dead...

And neither is Asada...

We'll find them...

And bring them back to our family...
