Hayden's PoV

"And there you go! Go to mommy for twenty four blissful hours you cockblocking little shit" I pass robot baby over to Brooke now it's after lunch. Brooke laughs taking hold of the baby "I don't know what I enjoyed most out of that sentence you calling me mommy or you referring to our robotic child as a cockblocking little shit". "It is a cockblocking little shit! Good luck getting lucky in the next twenty four hours because that things a sex repellant" I point at it making Brooke laugh more. I'm pleased at how Brooke and I can civilly chat. "Ok say bye to ... are you mama or daddy?" Brooke looks at me confused as she places the baby on her shoulder. "Depends who's asking! To that thing I'm a nobody" I walk away smiling waving at Brooke. Just as I'm about to turn around Imogen bumps into me "have you seen my baby?" She looks around everyone panicked. "Imogen your baby is still in your belly! Where it's supposed to be right now. Don't jinx it!" I slowly state whilst watching my sister. "Not my actual baby. My health class baby" she looks at me like I'm stupid and slaps my arm. "Wait have you lost your robo baby?" I laugh receiving a deathly glare from my sister. Instantly wiping the smile from my face I point to chip who is walking towards us. "Chip! Chip someone stole our baby!" I walk towards them to somewhat aid my hysterical sister... I mean imagine this was her real baby. "Well that's not a sentence you hear everyday" I smile receiving another death glare from Imogen. "What? Hey, no. It's-it's ok. It's ok we will find it" poor chip tries to reason with my hysterical sister "her. Clarice. I named her" ok that's odd. "Maybe we just have to give it a minute to get quiet" as the halls fall silent we hear a robo baby crying in the distance. So dramatic I love it! "Wait you hear that?" Chip looks towards the wailing robo baby. "Clarice" Imogen looks round relieved at hearing .... Her weirdly named robo baby. "Well imma go because you two are creeping me out with how attached you are to the gadget" I point behind me and try to make my get away. Imogen grabs my backpack pulling me back "you're helping me till we find your niece!!" She scolds me as I give in and walk with them down the hallway. Imogen ... kinda runs towards the broom closet and swings the door open. Lying on one of the shelves is the robo baby. "There we go now your a happy family again" I clap whilst chip gives me a glare. Back off dickhead I'm the aunt ... wait no I'm not!! Imogen's face drops when she brings the robo baby out of the closet. Pinned to the blanket is a note that reads 'you're a bad mother' with the A in red marker. I look up at my sister who looks terrified. They can all lie to me all they want but I know somethings going on. The guy that creeped out Imogen and I, the guy that creeped out noa, Karen's death, the girls all getting hauled up for things they didn't do. I know someone's messing with them but I can't figure out why. "Someone's just messing with you Imogen" chip cluelessly tries to reassure my sister. Imogen turns round to chip and I instantly feel like a third wheel ...where the fuck is noa? "Chip, maybe we should tag team this assignment" my sister looks up at chip with a smile, like a creepy I like you smile. "Would that be ok?" "Course" chip replies a little too quickly for my liking. Are they flirting? This is disgusting. "In that case could you give me a ride to this adoption agency after school?" I look at my sister a little hurt that she's not spoken to me about this. "Imogen?" I try to get her to look at me but she won't. "Iv made my decision Hayden" she snaps at me and turns round walking away with chip.

I watched Imogen and chip walk away after school. They walked to chips car looking oddly comfortable with each other. Maybe it's just me being over protective of my sister but I don't like it. I feel my phone vibrate in my pocket so I reach in and pull it out.

Noa 🌹 - hey baby, where are you? Want to go to the carnival? I have to meet the trainer that coach has organised for me but I should be finished in about an hour? Xxx
