"And then they were like, 'you must have been a pain in the ass to your parents did your mom send you here- oh wait you don't have one'" Piper mimicked the girl who'd been bullying her, Isabella. Jason put a hand on her shoulder comforting her, Leo was building goal post out of straws and tissue for his paper ball when his eyes caught the girl who was silently reading a book a few chairs away from them she'd discarded her food and was solely focused on her book.

Piper stopped noticing Leo was completely distracted and had lost interest in his goalpost, "Leo? leoo" she waved a hand in front of his face but he didn't notice it he was busy staring at the girl who sat across from there.

"Who is she?"

"Who?"

"That girl there with the book" He pointed, Piper followed his gaze landing on the girl. "Oh that's Lilith she's my new bunkmate since the other got arrested"

"Terry?" Jason asked/

"Yeah, apparently she was part if this gang that steal gems and disguise themselves as teenagers, I found out she's actually twenty!"

"No way,"

"Way"

"She's beautiful"

"Who Terry? I didn't know you knew her"

"No not terry- that girl your new bunkmate!"

Piper shared a glance with Jason, he'd soon forget about this don't worry they thought.

But how w two weeks later he didn't he always asked Piper;"What's her favorite color?" "Do you think she noticed me?"

Until Piper had enough and told him, "I don't know she barely talks sometimes all she does is read or draw and paint then hide the papers in her bag if you want to know about her try actually talking to her"

Well after a week of pep talk from Jason and Piper, he finally approached her after gym, she was wearing shorts and a cropped hoodie, her hair in messy bun a few of its curls falling out, she stuffed a paper into her pockets and sighed, "hey"

She stopped walking and turned to Leo, "Hi"

Leo suddenly didn't know what to say again, he didn't think he'd make this far, "I'm Leo" she smiled, "I'm Lilith"

Then the same paper fell out of her pocket, Leo helped her pick it up at the same time she was going to and the two hit their foreheads against each other they began laughing as Leo handed the crumpled up paper to her, "do you know where the art room is?"

Leo was thankful he'd stolen a map of the school his first day here, "yes it's right down the corner" Lilith asked, "can you show me?"

"Me?" he asked, she tilted her head looking like a puppy and looked around, "well yes you're the only one here but if you don't want to its oka-"

"No! I-I'll show you"

"Cool" the two walked down the annoyingly long corridor where they ran into Dylan and his stupid posse, Lilith groaned and tried to move around but one of the guys called her.

"Hey look it's Lilith"

Leo saw the annoyance wash over her and though her eyes turned grey, he blinked and they were back to being forest green. "Leave us alone Chad" she rolled her eyes grabbing Leo's hand trying to drag them away but Chad blocked her way, "where're you going Lilith"
