STUCK
01x01~
Marleigh is stood in her kitchen, leaning against the counter and staring at the work surface, impatiently tapping her foot against the floor.
"I have to go, i'm running late." Marleigh called out, loud enough for Thomas to hear.
"You're not going anywhere." Thomas declared as he walked into the kitchen and stood in front of Marleigh.
"I could lose my job if i'm late again." Marleigh mumble, not looking him in the eye.
"Maybe i want you to loose your job. It would stop you from being around them people." Thomas hissed, slowly inching closer to blonde haired woman.
"If you wanted me to loose my job you would have gone in and spun some bizarre story to get me fired." She whispered as she gripped the surface she is leaning on.
"You know, i don't get why you care so much about who i'm around, work with or where i work because we aren't together, never have been never will be." Marleigh hissed in a whisper before he could get a chance to speak.
"You're right, we're not together but i own you." He gripped her waist and pulled her closer to him and leant down so his lips barely touched her ear. "And i don't like the way you're speaking to me, so i'm gonna teach you a lesson." He spat before pushing his lips on her neck, kissing and sucking harshly.
"Get off of me." Marleigh whimpered as she tried to push him away but his grip is way too strong.
With one hand on her hip, he shoved her back against the counter and kept a firm hold whilst his other hand reached for the belt attached to the pants of her uniform.
"Please don't. Please." She cried as she gripped his wrist and pulled his hand away from her pants. He yanked his hand out of her grip and grabbed her chin to make her look at him.
"I've told you before and i'm going to tell you again, you fight it, it's going to hurt." He warned.
Marleigh blindly searched the counter for something to help her get away from him as he went back to kissing her neck.
She grabbed hold of the handle to a frying pan before lifting and swinging it at the side of his head. Once the pan made contact with Thomas' head she dropped it in shock.
He stumbled back slightly and reached up to touch the side of his head where the pan had struck him and made a small deep cut at the side of his left eyebrow.
Before he could move any further, Marleigh quickly dashed out of the kitchen and into the hallway where she picked up her bag, keys and phone before rushing out of the front door.
Instead of taking her car, Marleigh decided to run to the station as it was only two blocks away from her house and she would be able to have a few more minutes to calm down and sort herself out.
Once she reached the fire station she ran into the locker room and put her stuff away before quickly braiding her extremely thick, waist long blonde hair into a dutch braid.
Once she finished her hair she walked into the beanery where everyone is sat ready for dinner.
"Bishop, you're late. Why?" Pruitt asked. Everyone turned their attention to the youngest Bishop sister. Marleigh turned away from everyone as she grabbed a bottle of water from the fridge.
"I had a thing this morning, i thought i told you." Marleigh lied. She walked over to the table and sat down next to Vic who gave her a concerned look.
"You didn't. Don't let it happen again." He said in stern voice. Pruitt cared for Marleigh like she was his own daughter and she thought of Pruitt like a father figure that she dreamed of when she was younger.
