"Okay, i wanna hear all about your hotty hot breakfast with grant, right down to the maple-glazed whatever he served you because you cannot serve a satisfying breakfast without maple glaze." Vic said, side eyeing Dean when he put the scrambled eggs on the table.

"Oh." Dean said and Ben chuckled.

"No breakfast. No maple glaze. I didn't go yet."
Travis said.

"What? No! I was waiting all weekend to hear how it went. I journaled about it." Vic's smile deflated.

"Because that's not weird at all." Ben said sarcastically.

"Okay, that's not cool, Montgomery. I can't believe you'd do that to me. To us." Vic said, pointing to Marleigh.

"To you?" Travis asked.

"So, Andy and i wanted to say a few words." Jack said, gaining everyone's attention.

"Two words, actually. We know peer reviews are tonight. And we just wanted to say in advance, thank you for whatever you're gonna say. We know you'll be honest." Andy placed her hands together on top of the table.

"Jack and i, we really appreciate you taking the time." She added.

"Picking sides feels wrong." Vic said, chewing her food.

Marleigh hummed in agreement. Picking sides did feel wrong but she knew who she would pick. Between Andy and Jack, Marleigh would always choose Andy no matter the situation.

"Do we have to?" Ben asked.

"You don't have to pick sides." Andy shook her head. "Just tell the truth, whatever you feel."

"I'm picking sides." Maya decided.

"Good to know." Jack nodded.

"Do i have to do this whole thing? I mean, can't i just write whatever on a piece of paper and give it to them? It saves a lot of time." Marleigh said.

"You'll do great." Andy reassured, sensing hoe much she didn't want to be questioned in the peer reviews.

Marleigh hates being questioned and interrogated. She didn't mind being the one to question and interrogate others because she was a profiler. Questioning people was like second nature to her but because of that, she hated being the one that was questioned.

"Station nineteen respond. Motor vehicle accident."

Marleigh sat in the conference room waiting for Ripley to walk back in for the peer reviews-something she hated. One on one meeting are the worst to Marleigh because all the attention is on her and she hates being center of attention even when talking about other people.

Ripley re-entered the room, a cup of coffee in his hand.

"Sorry about that, gotta keep the energy up, you know." Ripley said, sitting down at the table.

"It's fine." Marleigh waved him off.

"So, how's everything been?" Ripley asked.
