Marleigh sat in the back of the Aid car as Maya drive her and Andy to go give out vaccines to the homeless. Truthfully, Marleigh didn't really want to go because she would have to see her bother again but Maya asked her and she felt like she couldn't say no.

She was dreading seeing Mason again. She didn't want to talk to him because she knew that he hated her. He loathed her for being able to do what she wanted in life even though their parents said she couldn't. He loathed the fact that she was able to stand up to their father and continue to do what she loved.

But what Mason didn't know was the fact that their father hated Marleigh more than him and Maya and that she got worse than just the silent treatments and no dinner when she didn't accomplish the goal he set for her.

"What-what about you?" How are you feeling about maybe seeing your brother?" Andy asked, snapping Marleigh out of her thoughts.

"Well, uh, he's either gonna look at me with 'long time, no see, i missed you so much, sis' eyes or 'you abandoned me just like everyone else in my life so i hate you now' eyes. No telling. It should be fun." Maya said.

"Well, at least he doesn't hate you that much that he can't even look at you let alone say more than one word to you." Marleigh spoke up.

"I don't think he hates you that much." Maya said.

"Mhm." Marleigh hummed.

Maya knew how much Mason hated Marleigh herself and she didn't really know what to say to her to make her feel better about the situation because whatever she did say, she knew would be a lie.

"Your ambulance sure is nice and shiny." Mason called out, getting their attention as they gave out the vaccines.

"Mason. It's been a while. You look good." Maya walked up to him whilst Marleigh stood back with Andy.

"You never were a good liar." Mason said.

Andy took her gloves off and grabbed Marleigh's hand and pulled her over to them.

"Hey. I'm Andy." She introduced herself, sticking her hand out.

Mason looked at her before shaking her hand.

"We can't stay long. We got to get back before shift starts. You wanna have the Hepatitis vaccine before we go? They're quick and free." Andy offered.

"No needles." Maya and Marleigh chorused.

"I'm-I'm-I'm good." Mason nodded.

"Okay, well, just let me know if you change your mind." Andy said before walking back over to the air car.

Marleigh went to walk with her but Maya pulled her back.

"I'm not using. I haven't been for a while." Mason said, not looking anywhere near Marleigh.

"I brought some stuff in case i ran into you, just food, blankets, clothes." Maya said.
