The days have been darker. The rumble of thunder never seemed to cease. But it was not thunder, it was the war going on in the heavens above. Tyrael has called us to a meeting, gathered around a table with a map laid out Kormac stood at Tyrael's left hand with Erina next to him on his own left, Lyndon sat on a stool at Tyrael's right and I stood beside him. Everyone was serious. Diablo's position has been heading towards the Silver Spire to the Heart of Heaven, his target being the life of all angels. Though we've been fighting through his corruption of demons our determination has kept us close behind him through these horror filled days in the heavens.

Lost in thought Kormac looked at the map where Tyrael pointed, Lyndon was also lost in his own thoughts, hand on his chin as his eyes studied the map. Erina was the first to ask, "What would the destruction look like without the angels?" she looked at Tyrael asking this, his brows furrowed even more and his response just solidified what we were all thinking, "The downfall of all light and creation." He said, "Which is why we must make it to the Spire before he can go through with his plan."

"Then we should finish this now." I said

Everyone looked at me. "With all of us we can clear through all his last defenses and put an end to this war. No more fighting with his pawns, we end this game today!" Tyreal nodded in agreement and pointed at the map again, "Yes, it would be more effective if we all went, the portal entrance will be here, The Crystal Colonnade. Which will be our starting point to the Silver Spire." We all looked at the position, the last checkpoint we had made when patrolling through the heavens before having to return to the Keep again.

Kormac spoke now, "Then we'll finally complete our mission of justice by killing the Prime Evil together!" Kormac said as enthusiastically as he could, the sombering underlying note being we may not all make it out of this fight. "Let us prepare for this glorious battle! So our mighty fight will be told for the ages!" He continued as he raised his fist in the air as a show of determination. Erina smiled brightly and raised her own fist as well as a show of encouragement to Kormacs confidence, they both looked at the three of us expectedly now. Lyndon raised an eyebrow and shook his head with a foolish grin, "Oh, to think I'd actually be agreeing with you for once. Well if I have to die at least it'll be with you all, and if we live the spoils will be tremendous!" He says as he stands from the stool and slowly brings his arm up with a nervous chuckle. The three of them now looked between Tyrael and I. We both looked at each other and then at our companions' hopeful grins and pleading eyes. Tyrael was the one to break with a smile as he added his armored fist with the others, "For justice and victory!" He said with volume, getting the attention of everyone else around us. The people murmured and slowly gathered to us, it was common we'd share our plans after meetings so gathering wasn't a problem. The problem was now my companions were looking at me to complete their little rally. Kormac gave a curt nod for me to join. Erina nodded enthusiastically in approval. Tyrael simply nodded in encouragement to the gesture. And Lyndon looked at me with one of his mischievous grins, as if this was completely enjoyable for him. With a sigh and defeated head shake I turned myself to face the crowd that waited expectedly now too. With the thrust of my fist and volume so loud that it echoed through the keep I repeated Tyrael's words, "Today will be the day, for justice and victory!"

The people quickly roared with confidence and raised their fists as well, "For justice and victory!"

They repeated with vigor and volume, their shouts and cheers echoing through the stone. Canceling out the thunderous battles from above. I looked back at my companions, their smiles wide and confident in our moment of encouragement to the people. Erina clapped with excitement. The boost of positivity is infectious as everyone begins saying prayers for our victory.

"It is settled then. Get everything in order that is needed and we'll make our final offense against Diablo in an hour." Tyrael said, turning his attention to a woman that had grasped his arm saying a prayer and thanks to him. He patted her hands and gave her a warm smile as he walked towards the crowd. Kormac and Erina began talking of battle strategies for any unknown enemies and for ultimately when we'd come against Diablo, they have made themselves quite the team when it comes to fighting together. I turned to a now empty stool, Lyndon seemed to have slipped away. Looking around I didn't see him, not even in the crowd accepting limitless praise for his heroism to go against Diablo. I didn't know where he would have gone. Looking around to no avail I shook my head to remove him from my thoughts and grabbed my axe, my thoughts were only on Diablo now and his ultimate demise.

As the thunderous chaos of war sounded off the walls once again I looked into the darkened skies above, it was so far away but sounded so close. Breathing in the cold air I closed my eyes, a symphony of muddled noises blurred together. People, metal, thunder, painful cries, and crackling fires. Diablo will get what he deserves for orchestrating such a wrenching song.
