My birthday is coming but still I haven't received any updates about my family.
How can I celebrate it alone? I can still remember how Richard was waiting for my birthday.
I look at the calendar it was the full moon too. So my birthday will be at the full moon too.
I was cut on thoughts when I receive some message from Andrei. Yeah we had been closed these days.
He always come out from nowhere so yeah I considered him as a friend.
He's asking if I'm free this coming Saturday. He was saying we should have an early celebration of my birthday.
He's just being nice so I gladly accept his invitation.
The next day he came early in our house which is weird cause how did he know my address?
I shrugged my shoulders and ride his car when he open the door for me.
"Where are we going?" I said looking at the road.
"Its a suprise since you're my first friend in the university" he said then winked at me.
I just shrugged my shoulders and let him drive. Until we reach the forest?
We stopped in front of a small house in the forest?
He opens the door for me.
"Welcome to my house Becky" he said
So this is his house? Why does he lives in the forest alone? Was it safe?
"Oh to make it clear I used to live here but i move in the city years ago. I brought you here cause there's so many things to explore in this forest. It will be fun if we do some adventures today right?" He said then smiled at me
"That's a good idea Andrei I also need a break from my family's case" I said
We go inside his house he said that he will just cook something for lunch then later we will go wonder the forest and go to the falls.
As we go in I already noticed the big picture. A family picture. I think the boy in the middle is Andrei? And then beside the little boy was a lady and man.
Andrei didn't mention anything about his parents...
I was cut in my thoughts when Andrei speak.
"They are my parents Becky but they had leave the world years ago" he said
By the way he say it. I can see loneliness and greed?
"I'm sorry to here that Andrei" I said then hugged him.
"Thank you Becky common let's eat lunch so you have strength in a long walk" he said mysteriously.
I nodded and come with him in the kitchen. There house is in a semi modern design.
But all are more in a old look. Like it had been like this for decades.
As I seat in the dining table I noticed that he had prepared so much food.
And then out of nowhere Andrei appear holding a cake.
"Happy birthday Becca" he said
And then go near me to blow the cake.
"Make a wish it may be the last one" he said but I didn't hear the last words he just whispered it.
I closed my eyes and make a wish. I wish to find my family soon.
After that Andrei and I eat happily telling some stories in our life.
He gave a wine and we make a toast but then in a bit I felt strange.
I started to feel dizzy? I only had one glass what's happening?
Did Andrei put something on it? I started to weaken. I can't even speak.
Until darkness almost invade my whole system but before I totally collapse Andrei said something.
"I'm sorry becky" he said
