It's been two years since Matheo woke up from his coma and brought an end to Jane's haunting nightmares. You know, sometimes we get attached with people, not always because of love, but simply because we become used to their presence in our lives. And when they're suddenly gone, it feels like a piece of us is missing. It's like, they took a part of our soul with them.

Jane and Matheo have been dating since then. After graduating from school, they both went to the same university, with a few of their friends.
Matheo has truly transformed over the past two years, becoming the perfect boyfriend for Jane. He spoils her with love every day, making her feel incredibly special. Jane's mom: Yep, sorry sweetie! You gotta hit the books.

Jane: But mom, the trip will be over before my exams!

Jane's dad: Jane, let's not argue about this anymore! The answer is no. It's your last year, and you gotta focus on your last two semesters!

Jane: Final words?

Jane's mom: Final words, indeed. And hey, think about it. You'll have a blast here all by yourself! No little sister driving you nuts, no mom nagging you to do chores. I bet you'll enjoy the freedom!

Jane: Well, I sure hope so!

Jane stormed off to her room, frustration bubbling inside her like a volcano ready to erupt. Slamming the door behind her, she couldn't help but feel like the odd one out. "Why is it always me?" she muttered under her breath.

Her dad's important business trip to Greece was the catalyst for this whole situation. Her mom thought it would be a great idea for her to go along, so her dad wouldn't feel lonely. And to make matters worse, her little sister Christelle was tagging along too, just so she wouldn't bother Jane while she was supposed to be studying hard.

She sat on her bed and looked at the hour. It was only 9:30, but she knew that a good night's sleep would give her the energy she needed for the next day.

As she locked her phone and switched it to silent mode, she settled into her bed, ready to drift off into a world of dreams.
