Several days passed. All this time I was in Rob's apartment, he did not leave me for a moment. He took care of me, called doctors for me because he was afraid that something was wrong with me. He even tried to cook something for me to make me happy. Although, his cooking skills left me hungry, and we just ordered dinner from a restaurant later, but it was fun. Today was the first day that Rob returned to work after a few days of vacation. I sat on the couch and watched him get ready. I admired him like a mesmerized person. How had I never noticed before that he was perfect? A strong, pumped-up body, confident movements, gorgeous dark hair, and blue eyes that could quickly drag me into the depths of the ocean.

- What do you plan to do today? - Rob asked.

- Nothing special. I'm going to see Chris, because we haven't seen each other for a long time.

- The doctor told you to stay in bed as much as possible.

- Rob, I'm tired of being in bed...

- Honey, don't start that again. If the doctor said that you are still weak, then you should take care of yourself, - he came close and gently took me by the chin, pulled me to him and kissed me, - you should invite your friend here. It will be more fun for you, and I won't worry, knowing that you're at home.

- Can I? - I asked in surprise.

- Of course, why not? - He was surprised by my question.

- Because it's your apartment.

- Yes, it is. But you are the owner, so do what you want with it. I trust you, - his words stung inside me.

Our relationship has changed a lot over the past few days. I have never felt so much care and warmth before. He was always there for me, taking care of me and never letting me out of his arms. So seeing him off to work now was sad, because now I didn't know what it would be like to be without him.

Rob looked at the clock on his wrist and added:

- I have to go now... - his lips kissed me gently once again, - but I don't want to leave you...

- Everything will be fine, don't worry, - I reassured him.

I really felt better, I don't understand why the doctor told me to rest in bed all the time. Maybe it was because of my emotional state, which was not in the best condition? In addition to the memories, I had nightmares every night... Every night I saw that shabby basement and experienced those terrible feelings. Only Rob's strong hugs reminded me that I was safe.

- I hope I'll be home early evening, - Robert said, - but if you need anything, call me anytime.

- Okay, see you tonight. I kissed him back and walked him out and closed the door behind him.

My strength was slowly returning to me, so I didn't feel like sitting around doing nothing. I looked in the mirror. Yes, I didn't look very good, to put it mildly. I wanted to look good and like myself in the mirror. So I went to the shower, then did my makeup and hair, and chose comfortable but elegant clothes.

Around noon, Chris called me:

- Hi, Emma, how are you?

- I'm fine. I'm waiting for you.

- Well, I'm already free. So where should we meet?

- Come to Rob's apartment. We'll meet there.

- Will he be with us too? - my friend asked in surprise.

- No, he'll be at work all day. But he doesn't mind you coming, he just doesn't want me to go out, because the doctor said so.

- That's right. Text me the address, I'll be there soon.
