A day before he travelled,

His son ran up to him, he and his mother just closed her shop for that day.

"Daddy, mommy say you are tavelling"

"Yes my boy, I am going for business but I will be back soon"

"When?"

He scratched his head, the truth was that he didn't know exactly when they would be back.

"I'll be back sooner than you know" he said, looking up, he saw his wife standing there looking at them.

"Come here" he told her, she walked to where he was,

"I need you to take care of yourself and the kids, I will send money through my uncle's wife"

She sighed, "I will, I'll try"

He turned to the little boy and knelt down to his level,

"Junior always be careful and focus on your studies okay, if you have good grades before I return, I will give you a surprise"

"I will study really really hard" the boy said,

"Also, now you are the man of the house, so take care of your Mommy and the baby in her stomach, okay?"

"Okay" Junior said, looking at his Mommy stomach and wondering how a baby was there, he couldn't even see a baby.

He hugged his family again, even he did not want to leave them but he was doing this for a greater good for a secure future.

The next day amidst tears from his wife, it hurt him to see her cry but he left with his uncle and they boarded the flight, leaving the country behind.

Inside the plane, he should feel happiness but he just felt miserable, his uncle noticed his mood.

"What's wrong" the older Man asked,

"Nothing, it's just that I am already missing them"

The man laughed,

"You'll get used to it, they will also get used to you being away, now stop sulking, look out the window and let's sip on champagne eeh"

He patted his back, he cheered up a bit and tried to enjoy the flight, this was his first time on a plane.

For three months he was abroad working for a better life,

His pregnant wife and child were at home waiting for him, he communicated with them at most every day but he got busier and tried keeping up communication some days a week, his wife was always happy when he video called, they would talk for long and gist each other of what happened but it wasn't this same as he being there, they missed each other dearly.

She sat eating chocolate late at night as she watched her son sleep, she was feeling unrest so she decided to stay up, she remembered also when she was pregnant with her first child, he had also left them in the village just so that he can settle down well in the city before bringing them, the situation now was similar to then, he had also left for abroad and she felt hopeless now because she did not know when he would be back, she comforted herself by remembering when he was here, how they played, laughed, had fun and made love, she tried to remember only the positive in hope that he would be back soon to continue.

Her husband's uncle wife visited to see how they are doing

When she opened the door, she smiled at the woman standing there and quickly gave her a hug, the woman returned the hug but was surprised to see the girl with a protruding belly,

"Aunty welcome, please come inside"

"How are you?" The aunt asked once she had taken her sit,

"Good afternoon ma" a little boy greeted her,

"Junior how are you, you have grown so well"

"Fine" Junior replied before he ran away to play with his friend,

His mother called for him but he was already gone.

"Leave him, let him play, he is a child but he has grown big, the last time I saw him, he was still little"

The girl laughed, "let me bring you something to eat" she said,

"No don't worry about that"

"Aunt you have to eat something"

"No, leave it, I am not hungry"

"Are you sure?"

"Yes but you can get me water"

"Okay" she walked in to the kitchen and brought water, then she sat down

"Do you have any idea when your husband will be back?"

She shook her head, "he said he will be back soon"

"Does he know you are pregnant" the aunt asked,

She placed her hand on her stomach and nodded in affirmation,

"He'll be back soon"

After the that they talked and gisted and poured their hearts out, it was emotional, it was really fun, later as aunty left, the girl felt lonely, she felt the strong connection between them not surprisingly after this they became closer than ever

She stared out of the window of the penthouse, she was back in this country, she had left trying to forget him, she had been in several relationship after just trying to keep him out but he was imprinted in her brain, all her relationship failed all for a man that didn't give two s***t about her.

She was obsessed, she would get him back even though she never had him, she would entice him with whatever she had to offer and he would eventually fall for her, all men had weaknesses and she only had to find out what his own was.

And as for the woman who had his heart now she would break and scatter her, she would destroy her for taking the man she craved for.
