Brianna knew there were up and downs in the world of living. But she always thought there were way, way too many for her. Her parents screaming at her almost everyday, having rumors about her, and almost getting evicted by the government. Life isn't always pretty. Brianna's life is the other side of life god doesn't want you to see for a reason.

Brianna always had someone there for her to comfort her every time. Her best friend, Valerie. They've known each other since elementary school. They've been getting over every obstacle god throws at them together. Trust always wins.

Brianna always dreamed of happiness. Her nightly dreams were all about happiness. It's all she every wanted. She had it with Valerie but she wanted it with her parents. Her parents are the real definition of assholes. 

Brianna's parents couldn't go a day without more drugs or alcohol. Brianna hated it. She wanted parents who could put food on the table. Who spent their money on reasonable things and parents who would tell her they love her before shutting her door for bed time. Parents who were good role models. The complete opposite of the parents she got.

Brianna was awaken from her dream by her alarm clock. Every day, 5:30 AM. School started at 7:30. She didn't like school but at the same time she didn't hate it. She hated all the drama and fights. Stuff like that. She loved the learning and being able to see Valerie every day.

Brianna got up and went to the bathroom first, like normal. She then brushed her teeth and hair, washed her face, and got dressed. Her school was trashy but yet had a uniform. It was a public school so it didn't make sense to Brianna. This side of Woodenmore is always trashy.

She had to wait outside for 30 minutes just for a large, yellow bus that's not even clean to take her to school. Now that part was not her favorite part of the week days. She would stand in the cold or the heat for minutes and minutes. That shouldn't be anyone's favorite.

Valerie always waits for Brianna at the entrance. Like a real best friend would. They walk in, heads up, shoulders raised. They have to be the most confident people in high school. With people spreading rumors about them, totally the most confident. 

They go to their lockers, grabbing their books and heading to class. The long hours of school always makes them tired. The nonstop learning and rumors always has an effect on them. The tired effect. Not the smart effect or the "flying" effect, the tired effect. 

Valerie's always been low. Her vibe, low, her life, low. Everything, low. Not many people know about her and her life. Her parents aren't the best but aren't the worst. They were laid back but serious at the same time. The vibe Valerie loved.

She's the "quiet kid". People say she's too quiet to be there. Whatever that means.. Many rumors go around about her. Kissing rumors, jail rumors, pregnancy rumors, she's the one people mostly like to talk about. They like to try to prove that quiet kids can be loud on the inside. And it's true. Brianna knows. 

First class of the day for them, science. It wasn't a favorite for them but they knew they had to attend it. 

Life is difficult. It's difficult for everyone. Everyone's story's, financial problems, house problems, family problems. They're all different. They're also difficult. Problems god puts in people life for a reason.

Brianna's life was certainly difficult. She had all those problems. Not one, not two, All. Problems like those can be a hassle. It's not a good thing to go through. Brianna's had thoughts. Thoughts no one would like in their head. The thoughts of jumping or stabbing. The edge or the cuts.
