Valerie's alarm went off around 5:30 AM as it's a Monday, the start to another school week. Valerie shook Brianna up, they both got out of bed and did their morning routine and walking out the door an hour later.
Brianna and Valerie walked through the school doors, there fingers interlinked with one another and receiving dirty looks. Valerie and Brianna looked over at each other but shrugged it off, going to their first class of the day together.

Brianna and Valerie walked through the front door exhausted, setting their shoes on the shoe mat and their bookbags on the floor. They went upstairs and flopped themselves on the bed, minutes later cuddling.
"Does every gay or lesbian couple get looked at like that in the halls?" Brianna asked, completely clueless as Valerie nodded her head as a response. Brianna sighed in defeat, hoping to get any answer other than a yes. Valerie kissed the top of her head and sighed as well.
