They both stared at Valerie's mom, scared and shocked for what's to come. "Out. I want both of you out." Valerie's mom said, causing a tear to drop from Brianna's eye. Valerie and Brianna both got up, going over to their belongings.
"Guys, I was only joking," Valerie's mom said, causing Valerie and Brianna to look at each other, confused. "Come on, come downstairs so we can have this cake and talk." Valerie's mom said, shutting the door behind her.
Brianna chuckled hopefully as Valerie and her were still looking at each other. Brianna ran up to Valerie, wrapping her legs around Valerie's waist as Valerie supported her back and legs. They kissed each other once again before Brianna got down, leading the way to the kitchen.
They made their way to the kitchen, staring at the table which had a cake on it. They took a seat next to each other as Valerie's mom sat across from them. Valerie's mom opened the cake, giving Brianna and Valerie a plate.
"So this cake was originally for your good grades but now, it's for your guy's relationship!" Valerie's mom said, causing Valerie to chuckle out loud. As Valerie's mom started cutting up the cake, Valerie put her hand on Brianna's thigh as she looked at her.
Valerie's mom gave them both a piece of cake as they all started eating it. A few minutes later, the front door opened and shut. It revealed a drunk Valerie's dad. "Why don't you guys eat it upstairs?" Valerie's mom suggested as the both got up, going into Valerie's room.
They sat on Valerie's bed, still eating the cake. They both sat across from each other, eating. Minutes later, Valerie got in the shower, then Brianna. They both laid besides each other and fell asleep shortly after that..
