Ariana's POV

"I feel like shit" I sighed

I've been sick since yesterday and Ashley had come to see me. I was hoping I'd be better before today but I'm not which sucks because I have to cancel my date with Lewis

"You look like shit too" Ashley laughed

I just glared at her before laughing back with her

"Weren't you meant to go on your date with that guy tonight?" she asked

"yeah and now I have to cancel" I groaned

"I'm sure he'll understand, just invite him to your birthday party instead"

"that's a good idea" I smiled

"so you haven't told me anything about him, what's his name?" she asked

"Lewis. He works at that bar and he has blonde hair and a sleeve of tattoos. He's literally perfect"

"Oh shit" Ashley muttered under her breath

"What's up?" I asked confused

"Well..you've basically just described Carson's brother" she said biting her lip

Well that was just great. I didn't even know Carson had a brother, she always manages to be in every situation

"Well that's just fucking brilliant" I scoffed sarcastically

Ashley just nodded her head

"I've gotta go now but I'll be back round tomorrow to get ready for the party " Ashley smirked before giving me a hug and leaving

I decided I should text Lewis, I was hoping he wouldn't be mad

To: Lewis

Hey, I'm really sick and I've not been out of bed since yesterday so I'm not gonna be able to go on the date with you tonight. It fucking sucks. But it's my birthday next week and I'm having a party tomorrow so you could come to that instead, I'm really sorry x

I was anxious about his reply. What if he thought I was lying? Or what if he thought that I didn't like him?

I was snapped out my thoughts by a ding on my phone

From: Lewis

Fuck. I was looking forward to it but if you're not well I don't want you to come out. I'll definitely be at your party. Get well soon x

I was so relieved by his reply, I decided to turn off my phone and take a nap

Justin's POV

"I haven't seen my girlfriend in ages, when will she come back" Jaxon asked me

"She'll come round soon" I laughed

"So you got everything sorted?" My mom said as she washed the dishes

"No not really" I sighed, leaning against the counter

"Spill" she replied

"Well she spoke to me again and we're friends now but I wanna be more than friends and it's killing me" I moaned

"that's what you get for being a fuckboy"

"mom!" I laughed

"I'm kidding Justin but you should do something special for her"

"Well she's at home sick at the moment"

"Perfect. Just turn up at her house with chocolate and ice-cream its romantic" she beamed
