"I choose...I..." she shook her head

"I choose Lewis" she told us

I felt my heart break into a million pieces. This is why I don't like girls because I always end up getting hurt

"Can you give us a minute Lewis" Ariana asked

"Sure" he smiled before going back into the crowd

"Justin I-" she started

"Don't say it Ariana. It already hurts enough. This is why I can't have feelings this is why I'm the way I am. I always end up getting hurt. I want you to be happy but I thought you liked me" I interrupted

"I do like you b...but...I...just can't" she replied, I saw a tear drop down onto the ground

"Ariana. Don't cry" I said wiping her tear with my thumb before pulling her into a hug

"I'm sorry" she sniffles, pulling away

"It's ok" I replied before walking away

I didn't want to stay here any longer, I eventually found Ryan but there was no sign of Cameron so I decided to leave without him

"Not really, Ariana chose someone else over me" I sighed

*2 moths later*

Ariana's POV

"Justin stop" I laughed

I was at his house babysitting Jazzy and Jaxon with him. After the party we didn't speak for a week but we eventually spoke and agreed to be friends. I've been dating Lewis for 2 months and everything's going pretty well

"Ok ok" he laughed, plopping onto the sofa

"So d-" he was cut off by my phone ringing

I slipped out my pocket and it was Lewis calling

"I'll be one second" I told him before walking into the other room

"Hello?" I said pressing the phone to my ear

"Hey babe, where are you?" his voice asked

"I'm just at Justin's" I replied

"Oh" he answered blankly

He didn't really like Justin and he wasn't a fan of me hanging around with him because of everything that happened at the party but he has nothing to worry about I don't like Justin anymore not in that way

"what's wrong" I asked sighing

"it's just...I dunno....you hang around with him a lot I just...never mind" he replied

"Lewis. There's nothing for you to worry about I love you, nobody else ok?" I said trying to reassure him

I was reassuring myself as well in a way. I do love Lewis but sometimes it's a bit boring there's no excitement but when I'm with Justin we always have fun and end up doing something exciting. I don't like him though

"Ok. Love you too. I gotta go I'll call you later" he said down the phone

"Ok bye" I replied before ending the call

Justin's POV

"Lewis. There's nothing for you to worry about I love you, nobody else ok?" Ariana said down the phone

I wasn't eavesdropping but it wasn't hard to hear. I'm glad that me and Ariana are friends but I can't help look at her in a different way and hearing that hurt. She doesn't notice it but the way I look at her is something amazing. I look at her likes she's the most amazing girl in the world, which she is

I know she's happy with Lewis but I'll get her back one day. I know I will

My thoughts were interrupted by Ariana

"Sorry about that" she smiled

"it's fine" I nodded

"so a movie?" she asked

"yeah what do you wanna watch?" i asked, walking over to the movies

"something sc-" she was interrupted by the door opening

"Hi you two" my mom smiled, she looked overly happy

We both said hey back to her before she started speaking again

"Justin. I have a surprise for you" she smiled widely

"Oh my god" my mouth dropped open

She moved to the side and there she was.
