Chapter 38

Justin's POV

It's been a month since Jess has been staying here and I hate it. I don't know what happened but all of a sudden Ariana and Jess are best friends.

Since the day she found her crying in the toilets they've become inseparable, honestly, I don't understand. Ariana hated her and now they're acting like sisters it's almost too good to be true.

Ariana snapped me out of my thoughts jumping onto my lap.

"Justin!" she huffed

"Sorry I was just thinking" I smiled vaguely, placing my hand on her waist

"I've been saying your name for like 5 minutes. What were you thinking about?" she asked tilting her head to the side. She always looked so cute when she did that

"Just finals and stuff. No biggie"
I shrugged

"Hm ok" she said, raising an eyebrow

"So what do you wanna do tonight?" I said pulling her further on my lap

"Welllllll" she grinned wrapping her hands around my neck. I smirked a bit before she leant down to my ear

"Not what you're thinking" she smiled lifting her head back up. "Jess wants us to go on this double date with her and some guy"  she shrugged

I rolled my eyes, letting out a groan.

"What?" she asked

"I'm just tired of hanging out with Jess, we're always together yet we never have any alone time"

"It's hard for her though, Justin. Me, you, Hailee and Ashley are her only friends"

"Well, she could try making new friends" I replied

"I know, she is. That's why it'll be helpful if we go tonight, if it goes well she'll be hanging out with her mystery guy and then we'll get alone time" she smirked a little

"But Ari" I groaned

"Pleaseeeeeee Justin" she pouted

I rolled my eyes playfully. "Fine. Fine, we'll go" I muttered

"Thank you baby" she grinned pecking me on the lips before jumping off of my lap. I chuckled to myself as she walked away.

We pulled up to a restaurant, Ariana stepped out of the car adjusting her dress and fastening her heels. I followed suit locking my car and linking my arm with Ariana's as we headed into the restaurant.

"We're here with Jess Reynolds" Ariana said to the waiter.

"Oh yes, right this way" She smiled politely walking towards he table. We followed her and came to our table. Jess leaped up to greet Ariana, the guy had his back turned but spun around as Jess leaped up.

"Chuck. Nice to see you" I said through gritted teeth

"You too Bieber, it's been a while hasn't it" He replied fastening his shirt

I clenched my fists and looked towards Ariana at the side of me. She mouthed a "Sorry" before taking a seat facing Jess, meaning i'd be facing Chuck.

"So. How did you guys get to know each other?" Ariana said trying to break the awkwardness

"Well, Ariana, you know how I am, I like to get myself acquainted with the new students and it just so happened Jess was beautiful, couldn't pass up the offer to get to know her further could I?" He said in that charming tone he used. Jess blushed squeezing his hand and Ariana let a smile creep on her face. I sat there with a straight face as always.

The waiter came over to take our orders and I think Ariana could tell I wasn't happy because she excused us both and took my hand and led me outside.

"Babe, I know you don't like Chuck but could you at least try and get along with him for one night?" She asked leaning against the window of the restaurant

"He's just so irritating, he always says the right things and It just makes me sick" I rolled my eyes

Ariana let out a laugh, leaving me confused.

"Justin, you sound like a girl"

I rolled my eyes at her. She pushed herself off the window and stepped in front of me placing her hands on either side of my face, making me look her in the eyes

"I love you Justin, and he seems to like Jess so if you're jealous there's nothing to be jealous of. Also, I know you don't like him but maybe you'd actually get along with him if you tried to just do this for me yeah?" she said looking me straight in the eyes

"Yeah ok. Just for you" I sighed

"Thank you" she smiled placing a soft kiss on my lips before taking my hand and leading me back inside

"Sorry about that" Ariana apologised sitting down, I followed suit

"So, Chuck how's things" I said trying to make conversation. We actually had a pretty decent conversation about his business ideas and I didn't wanna punch him in the face whilst we were talking.

He was being really touchy feely with Jess they were flirting a lot which was nice to see, I just hoped Chuck would make this more than a one time thing so me and Ariana could have more alone time. I'm fed up of being teased. We haven't had sex in 2 weeks and I was trying to keep my cool about it.

We ate our food and carried on our conversations, it actually turned out to be a pretty decent night and I enjoyed it. Me and Chuck even shook hands at the end of night which was something I never expected to be doing. Ariana said her goodbyes and so did I  before getting in my car and driving her back home.

"Tonight was actually pretty good" I smiled as we stood on her doorstep

"I'm glad you thought that, Chuck isn't that bad after you get to know him" she smiled back

"Yeah, you were right...again" I playfully rolled my eyes

"I'm always right babe" she smirked

"Very true" I chuckled, looking to my watch. "You better get going inside" I said removing my hands from my pockets.

"Yeah. I'll see you tomorrow?" She said reaching for her keys

"Yep see you tomorrow baby" I smiled planting a kiss on her lips, pulling her into a hug.

"Night Justin" she said before stepping inside and shutting her door.

I jogged back down the steps and headed home.

Hello guys. I'm possibly the most hated person on Wattpad at the moment considering i haven't updated in 6 months. I'm so so so so so sorry I just haven't felt like writing and my ideas seemed to disappear and  I had no drive to write, that's why this chapter is so rushed and boring. I just needed to get something out.

I've just started my final year of school so school work is really important and I need to keep on top of it so i don't know when i will next update but it will definitely not be another 6 months😂

So much happened though, Dangerous Woman is an ALBUM. So much excellence i was so happy with the album. Ariana is doing her thing and I'm so happy and the other day she announced that my other faves Little Mix are opening for her on tour i deadass cried my eyes out lmfaooo i was so damn excited. But, anyway once again I am SO sorry for not
