Justin's POV

"Honestly what's with all the new people on this school?" Ariana askew as we sat down for lunch

"Obviously none of them compare to me" Hailee smirked flipping her hair over her shoulder

"Very true, I wonder who this new person is though?" Ariana asked taking a bite of her sandwich

"It could be anyone. Hopefully I'm not asked to buddy again because Hailee was enough" I teased

"Justin I swear I'll cut your tiny dick off" she glared raising her butter knife

"Don't do that Hailee...you'd be depriving Ariana of something she very much enjoys" I smirked

"That's true and believe me, it is not small at all" she winked.

"ok ok ok tmi guys" Hailee laughed

We carried on talking for a couple of minutes but they stared talking about periods and shit so I tuned out. I looked towards the entrance of the cafeteria and saw two people I'd never seen before walk in. It was girl and a boy they looked like they were brother and sister. I'd never seen them anywhere before so I'm sure they've just moved into town. I eyed them up and down for a second before Ariana interrupted letting out a loud shriek

"Oh my god" she said, dropping her sandwich down to the plate

"What's up?" me and Hailee both asked in unison. She looked like she'd just seen a ghost

"It's uh-uh, my uh....Ex" she replied swallowing a lump that'd built up in her throat

Ariana's POV

"Mine are so irregular though" We were deep in conversation about periods

"Mine are always perfectly on time and I'm always prepared. Pads at the ready" she laughed

"I prefer tampons if I'm honest" I shrugged

"WHAT?! ew! no! I hate tampons. I'm too scared to try one" Hailee replied looking extremely disgusted

I just laughed at her

"Oh wow cute new hottie at 12'oclock" she nodded, I looked over to where she was looking and my heart jumped out of my throat.

"Oh my god" I breathed out causing Justin to look towards me

"what's up?" they both asked

I couldn't find the words to say. Why did he have to be here why does he have to come and try and ruin everything when me and Justin were good

It's uh-uh, my uh....Ex" I replied, shaking the lump in my throat

"You're ex?" Justin asked wide-eyed

"You're ex as in one who tried to get you back whilst you were in Boca?" he carried on

"That's the one" I sighed

He clenched his jaw and his eyes became dark

"Ariana...." he breathed walking towards me. I couldn't bring myself to look at him because I was afraid of what I'd feel

"What are you doing here, Kalin"'I sighed. My eyes still glued to the lunch table

"me and KC just transferred here" he replied gently
