Chapter 17: Attack on Date Night

After we took down the base in London, Peter and I stayed in Avengers tower just watching TV or playing video games. Then Peter decided that we should have a date night tomorrow. I agreed and we kept playing video games. When I woke up the next day a smile was plastered on my face at the thought that today was date night. I got up and put on a pair of black shorts, a loose floral tank top, and converse. I leave my room grabbing my phone and money on the way and head down to the dinning room. "Hey, Alli, where are you headed to?" Natasha asks me as I sit down and serve myself some waffles and bacon. "I'm gonna go shopping for a new dress and some new clothes" I respond to her as I take a bite of my waffle.

"I'll come with you. It'd be nice to shop for some new clothes" she says. "Sure, you can come" I respond putting a piece of waffle in my mouth. Then we see Pepper and Tony walk out of the elevator and sit down. "Hey, Pepper, me and Natasha are gonna go shopping for some new clothes, do you wanna come?" I ask her. She looks over to me and smiles, "Yeah, I'd love to. Thanks, Alli." she says and I nod with a smile. As we finish our breakfast and put out plates away, Peter walks in and sees me. "Hey, where are you going?" he asks me grabbing my hand. "I'm gonna go shopping. I'll meet you back here before date night" I respond and peck his lips. Me, Natasha, and Pepper walk into the elevator and walk over to the nearest store.

We walk to Wet Seal and I see a few cute shoes, dresses, and shirts. I grab a loose red mickey mouse tank top, a teal and black strapless high-low dress, and a couple shorts and skinny jeans. I try the dress on first and I show it to Pepper and Natasha. "You look adorable, honey" Pepper says to me and I smile and look at myself in the mirror. The dress fit me in my curves and the front of the skirt ended below my knee and the back of the skirt ended above my ankle. "I love it" I say and I head back inside to try on the other stuff.

After we bought some clothes, we stopped at Forever 21 and I looked at some jewelry and shoes. Natasha and Pepper were looking for some cute sweaters. I find a pair of cute black open toed heels and a necklace with a gold chain and a teal rectangular shaped pendant. I bought them and we headed back to the tower. When we get back we all head back to our rooms and put our clothes away. I hear a knock on the door and I open it and I see Peter there. "Hey" I say to him with a smile and kiss him. "What time are we going on that date?" I ask him as he comes in and sits on my bed looking at all the shopping bags I had on the floor. "At 5. You did a lot of shopping" Peter says and I grab a shopping bag and take out the clothes and hang them. "Yeah I did. So, should I dress formal, or casual?" I ask him. "Casual were not doing anything fancy" he responds and I look at the time. 2:53, I look at Peter and lay next to him.

Peter left  my room and I was left alone to get ready for our date. I pick out a loose black and white stripped crop top, a black skirt, and black wedges. I put my make-up on and curl my hair and I look at myself in the mirror. I just needed one final touch, I put red lipstick on and I look at myself one more time and I like it. I grab my phone and purse and walk out of my room and to the elevator. As the elevator doors open I see everyone sitting on the couch in the living room. All the guys mouths drop open and Pepper and Natasha smile. "You look beautiful, Alli" Peter says with a smile and grabbing my hand. "Thanks, Pete" I say to him and peck his lips. "Lady Alli, you look stunning!" Thor says with wide eyes. "Thanks, Thor" I say with a smile and I look at Peter and grab his hand and he grabs a picnic basket and a blanket.

We both walk out of the tower and we walk to Central Park and put the blanket down. I sit next to Peter and he pulls out some sandwiches, fruits, and water. After we finished eating, we lay on the blanket and look up at the sky and look at the clouds. "That cloud looks like a bunny riding a motorcycle" Peter says motioning to the cloud on the far right and I giggle. "That cloud looks like a chipmunk stuffing it's cheeks with candy" I say pointing to the cloud passing us. Peter grabs my hand and I look at him with a smile. I turn to face him and I lay on his chest, "You look cute when you lie down" I say to him with a chuckle. "And you look cute when you flirt with me" he says and kisses me.

Suddenly, I feel Peter tense up and look to his left. "Peter, what's wrong?" I ask sitting up and he does the same. I look in the direction he's looking at and I don't see anything. Then he grabs me and dodges a bullet from hitting me. I look at him then at the direction the bullet was shot from. Peter helps me up and then I see two Hydra agents there, one male, one female. "I'll handle her and you handle him" I say to Peter and he nods. I turn myself invisible and fly over to the girl and I throw her to a tree with a flick of the wrist. I make myself visible and look at her and she smirks and gets up. "You think you can outsmart Hydra? Hydra's been one step ahead of the Avengers, and our main mission right now is to take down the Avengers strongest asset. You, Thor, Captain America, Black Widow, and the Hulk." she says to me.

"If you think you can take me down, I'd like to see you try, bitch" I say to her floating up and taking rocks from the earth and throwing them at her. She dodges them and throws a metal disk at me that electrocutes me. I fall to the ground being shocked and when the electricity stops I hear the girl say, "Psylince is down. 3 out of 5. Grab Widow and Thor before any of the other Avengers notice their missing." she says and I black out.
