Random Sanegiyuu/Giyusane Oneshots || Demon Slayer

1- Getting Along - Part 1

It was obvious for everyone that The Wind Hashira and The Water Hashira don't get along.

Every meeting, they would have an insult ot two for eachother, making it obvious that they hate eachother.

It was mostly The Wind Hashira, Sanemi Shinazugawa, that insulted The Water Hashira, Giyuu Tomioka, but Giyuu would have a thing or two to say sometimes aswell.

They hated everything about eachother, and weren't afraid to hide it.

One day, Giyuu was walking through a meadow.

He went there to clear his mind and take a little break from everything going on in his life.

But all of a sudden, droplets on rain started to drop from the sky.

Giyuu enjoyed the rain, so he dint bother going home or anything.

He continued to adore the beautiful flowers that grew.

While exploring the meadow in the rain, he noticed a burrow-like hole in the ground.

He crouched down, moved the leaves away from the burrow to see it clearly.

In there, he saw a family of little bunnies, next to a dead mother rabbit.

Giyuu felt great sympathy for the poor bunnies and started taking them one by one, of course making sure that the rain didn't hit them.

He started running back to his estate, where he put them down in the living room.

Giyuu was so distracted by the bunnies that he didn't notice that there was a person watching the entire sence unfold.

That person was none other than Sanemi Shinazugawa.

He crouched down to the burrow that Giyuu took the bunnies from and saw the dead mother rabbit.

Sanemi also started feeling bad for the poor bunnies.

Sanemi, unlike Giyuu, was actually carrying an umbrella, so he had to make sure that he didn't get wet.

He stood back up, adjusted his umbrella and went back to his own estate.

The next morning Giyuu woke up, feeling warm soft balls on his chest.

Only to find out that those were the bunnies that he saved the other day.

Just one of them was the size of his palm, which Giyuu found to be really cute.

He ended up smiling because of it.

Giyuu hurrily brushed his teeth and went to the kitchen, remembering that he had a whole lettuce stored in the fridge.

He cut them into little pieces before placing them on a plate before going back to the little balls of fluff in his room.

Giyuu first laid down and reached their level and allowed them to slowly come to him and trust him before feeding them.

There were about 8 of them.

Giyuu was glad that none of them would feel left out when he had to go out of missions.

Giyuu has had rabbits as pets before when he was young.

So he wasn't worried about having any experience or anything like that.

He decided that he would bury the mother rabbit somewhere in the meadow while having his own breakfast.

He took out a picnic basket that was big enough, (it want that big though) and pit a piece of cloth on the very bottom before putting all the bunnies in the basket before going out with it.

He wanted to go shopping and get some things for the bunnies so that they would feel comfortable living at his house.

The lid of the picnic basket was obviously put on as he already knew that rabbits like dark areas more than the ones that have sunlight.

But on his way out of headquarters, he encountered Sanemi, who seemed to want to know what was in the picnic basket.

Giyuu lifted a part of the lid to reveal the bunnies that were sleeping inside.

"I found them yesterday, their mother was dead next to them so I decided to take them in." Giyuu explained.

"Yeah, I saw you taking them from the meadow. I'm actually on my way to bury the mother. Where'er you going?" Sanemi finished his response with a question.

"I'm going to buy some things for these little ones. I was planning on burying the mother after it though. But I really appreciate that you're going to bury her." Giyuu responded.

"Yeah, yeah. Just go buy what you need. But we don't tell anyone else about this encounter, okay?" Sanemi said.

"I wasn't planning on doing so." Giyuu says before turning and making his way to the town nearby.

Sanemi smirked before making his way to the meadow and burying the mother rabbit.

A few hours into the afternoon, Giyuu returned with the bunnies and a few supplies.

He luckily didn't encounter any unwanted people on his way back to his estate.

He had fed the bunnies when he was in town so he had to feed them about 2-3 hours later if his estimation was correct.

He put down all of the newly bought items in his room before releasing the bunnies into his room.

He assembled the gadgets and rearranged his room one last time (to fit all of the things) before laying down and taking a small nap.

The bunnies ended up noticing that their new master had fallen asleep and joined him. (On his stomach of course)

Sanemi was in his house drinking some tea while talking to Obanai.

They were having a normal conversation about how their lives were going.

Tengen was with his loving wives.

Rengoku and Mitsuri were returning from a mission together and ended up having some tea together.

Muichiro was having fun playing with his crow.

And Shinobu was taking a nap.(same as Giyuu)

The next day, Giyuu fed his little rabbits before attending a Hashira meeting.

He was feeling good about himself, as he found a little something to love about life.

He bumped into Sanemi, but instead of yelling at eachother, Sanemi asked how the bunnies were doing.

Giyuu told him their condition and Sanemi seemed relieved.

"I would literally kill you of you did something wrong." Sanemi said before walking with Giyuu to the Hashira meeting.

"Shinazugawa-san, trust me, I know what I'm doing." Giyuu assures him as they enter the meeting.

Everyone seems to a bit surprised as Sanemi and Giyuu walk into the Hashira meeting together without having a fight.

"What?" Sanemi asks.

"Nothing man, it's just that you walked in with Tomioka without causing a scene. Good for you I guess." Obanai said.

Giyuu sighed before getting to his spot, a bit closer to the others this time.

He ended up actually talking to Shinobu this time too.

Who knew just a bunch of baby rabbits could mend relationships.
