In the morning, Ahaan woke up first and found himself gazing at Ishqi, who was still sound asleep beside him. A soft smile spread across his face as he watched her. He was content at the moment as he finally confessed about his feelings. Though, it was not a normal confession but he was happy.Moments later, Ishqi stirred and turned to face the other side, but Ahaan simply moved closer to her, still admiring her. As Ishqi slowly began to wake up, she noticed Ahaan staring at her and playfully questioned him.
Ishqi asked, "Why are you staring at me like that?"
Ahaan replied, "I’m not staring. I’m just adoring my wife."
Ishqi laughed and tried to get up. "Haha, very funny... now move, let me get up."
As she attempted to rise, Ahaan gently pulled her towards him and said, "Not so fast, Mrs. Malhotra."
He leaned in and tenderly kissed her forehead and added, "Now, it’s officially a good morning. You can go now."
They both got up, freshened up, and Ishqi went to the kitchen to prepare breakfast. Once she finished, she came back to call Ahaan, but overheard him on the phone with the manager discussing the cancellation of an important business deal, which had resulted in a financial loss. When he finished the call, he noticed her standing there.
Ahaan asked, "Oh, is breakfast ready?"
Ishqi, trying to hide her worry, replied, "Yes, but let me apply your ointment and bandages first."
She began gently applying cream and bandages to the cuts on Ahaan's forehead and lips from the previous day's fight . As she tended to his wounds, tears began to fill her eyes.
Ishqi said, "This is all my fault. You worked so hard on this deal, and because of me, it got canceled. I’ll apologize to Mr. Singhania. That should fix everything, right?"Ahaan pulled her onto his lap, holding her close and reassured her, "Ishqi, none of this is your fault. No deal is more important to me than you. We have another meeting today, and I’m confident the deal won’t be canceled. And you don’t need to apologize to anyone, nor do I. Please stop crying, I hate seeing tears in your eyes."
Ishqi, still emotional, looked up at him before softly kissing the wounds on his face.
Ahaan smiled. "Now that’s confirmed- everything will be fine."
Ishqi said, "Promise me you won’t hide anything from me about what happens in the meeting."
Ahaan promised, "I promise. I’ll call you as soon as it's over. Now let’s go have breakfast."
Ahaan then headed off to the meeting, while Ishqi stayed at home, worried.
During the meeting, Mr. Jindal began by addressing the issue.
Mr. Jindal asked, "Mr. Malhotra, could you explain why you got into a physical fight with Mr. Singhania's son yesterday?"
Mr. Singhania added, "My son told me you were feeling insecure about your wife, which is why you behaved this way. Mr. Malhotra, don’t you trust your wife?"
Mr. Jindal suggested, "Look, this deal is important for all of us. None of us want it to be canceled. My suggestion is that you apologize to Mr. Singhania, and let’s move on from this."
Ahaan responded firmly, "I’m sorry, Mr. Jindal, but I won’t apologize for something that wasn’t my fault. You’d have done the same in my position. Mr. Singhania, I don’t know what your son told you, but the truth is, he and his friends misbehaved with my wife and tried to molest her after the party. Now you tell me, what was I supposed to do in that situation? I know you may not believe me, but you can check the CCTV footage of that place. I’ve said what I needed to say. And if it had been any other woman in my wife’s place, I’d have done the same thing. No deal is worth more than a woman's dignity. I have no regrets."
