Divisha was sleeping for the past 14 hours. She woke up with a relaxed body and light head, she stretched her body and opened her eyes slightly. She looked around her room with a smile UNTIL her eyes stopped in the digital watch hanging on the wall. She looked at the date and time but couldn't believe it. She rubbed her eyes and again looked at the watch trying to change the fact but again she saw the same time and date.
She grabbed her phone from the side table and looked at the notifications. About 10 missed calls were there from Naina alone. She ran towards the washroom and after taking a quick bath, she wore the clothes she found first.
After picking the documents from the table, she ran out of the penthouse, locking the doors behind. She didn't have time to do breakfast(more specifically lunch).
She was taking out her car from the parking lot when she heard someone calling. She looked outside and found a neighbour standing there.
"Ji boliye!" She asked in a hurry. The neighbour told her about the maid but she shooed her away saying that she will meet her in the evening.
(Yes Speak!)As soon as Divisha was out of the locality, the car was running at full speed. She reached the office within a few minutes.
She ran inside after parking the car in the garage. She went straight to the conference where she found no one except a person picking up a shattered laptop.
She closed her eyes knowing that ASR's CEO was gone. She ran towards the CEOs cabin, after knocking on the door, entered inside. There was Anand sitting on his chair looking at Abhimanyu who was pacing around the room.
Anand saw Divisha first and gave her a small smile.
"I'm sorry sir, I don't know how I couldn't wake up." Abhimanyu heard Divisha's voice and turned back to look at her with a smile.
"Aree wah Divisha ji, aap itna jaldi kaise aa gaye. Thoda late aana tha, abhi toh time bhi nahi hua meeting ka. See!" Abhimanyu showed his watch.
(Wow Divisha, how did you arrive so early. You should have come a little late, it's not even the time for the meeting.)"Abhimanyu!" Anand voiced but Abhimanyu interrupted.
"No dad! Actually I'm wrong. The meeting is finished and the deal was made. Divisha, you know what, they liked your presentation so much that they didn't have words to describe it."
Abhimanyu was giving her lecture from the past half an hour but Divisha was standing there with her eyes casting down. Anand tried to stop him but he didn't listen to him.
"You know, how profitable the deal was. How can you be so careless, Divisha.
No wait! Actually Divisha, you are in the wrong profession. You should have done something like a sleeping job. It would have been better for you and others too. Like, why waste your and others'time too when you just want to sleep or be late." He sighed and continued"I don't even know how you could pass the exam with your lethargic behaviour. And who called you one of the best or is it you, who gave yourself that tag. What else can we expect from you!" Abhimanyu said while Divisha was standing there like a statue. She had tears in her eyes but couldn't utter a word. UNTIL! He was pointing out her mistakes but he can't say anything about her profession.
She saw a vase on the nearby stand, she took a step picking the vase in her hand and smashing it. She held the upper area of the vase and took rushed steps towards him.
A/n: She was holding the neck of the vase. Hope you understand what I meant.😭
"Don't you dare utter a word about my profession or my efforts. I know, I'm at fault but that doesn't give you a right to give your opinion on my hard work. You can blame me for the deal, you can even curse me BUT you can't say anything about my job, my hard work. You don't know what I went through to make my name in this business world. " She spoke each and every word looking into his eyes while the vase was touching his neck.
