Author's POV"He is gone." Vikram said with emotionless eyes.
"Where? Did you kill him?" Abhimanyu's eyes widened, though he also wanted to kill Dishant, but he didn't want to give him an easy death.
"No. I asked my brother to get all the information about Manohar and Dishant when you told me when he ran away from the office. But you told me that a little late, he had already boarded a flight to London. My men went behind him, but he disappeared into thin air. He definitely had some contacts there. I also found something." Vikram answered and then told him every information he got.
After half an hour, Abhimanyu was furious after listening to everything. He not only wanted to kill Dishant but torture him to the death. The worst death!
"And you didn't find it important to tell me, did you?" Abhimanyu taunted him while glaring at Vikram which earned him a mocking expression from Vikram.
"You didn't find it important to kill that fucker, did you? Take care of your girlfriend." Vikram said mockingly and then smirked while saying the last sentence. He stood up and went towards the door when Abhimanyu snapped.
"She's not my girlfriend."
"Then add 'soon to be' in it." Vikram said and exited the room while Abhimanyu glared at the door even though his ears turned pink.
"Iski wali aane do fir batata hu isse toh mai." He mumbled looking at the door. His anger vanished as he thought about her and their kiss which made him groan, he then cleared his throat and got back to his work.
(Let him get his girl then I'll tell him.)In the evening, Kritika had dragged Divisha to a restaurant without letting her bid goodbye to Abhimanyu. Abhimanyu knew that he won't be able to talk to her today, so he just kept himself busy in work.
Next morning
Divisha's POV
I felt something heavy on my chest and neck, I opened my eyes only to see my cat sitting on me. I moved slightly making him slide on the bed. He opened his eyes and then again slept snuggling into the blanket.
I lifted my legs, but it felt heavy and then I looked down only to find my other cat sleeping on the top of the blanket. I sighed and then carefully sat on the bed, trying not to disturb my little beings.
They are not even "a month" maybe. I used 'maybe' because I don't know when they were born. I found them on our streets about two weeks ago.
Flashback#
I parked my car as I returned from the office. It was almost 6 in the evening; I got out of the car and was about to enter my house when I heard some aunties were gathered around the street a little away from the house.
I went towards them only to find a box placed on the ground with two little kittens in it, meowing continuously.
"Aunty yeh billi ke bachhe yaha kaise aaye?" I asked them.
(Aunty, how did these kittens come here?)"Inki maa ki aaj subah accident se death ho gayi. Abhi thodi der pehle hume yeh bachhe mile vaha gate se nikalte hue. Humne inko box me bitha diya. Bechare!" One of the ladies explained everything to me and I looked at them.
(Their mother died in the morning in an accident. A few minutes ago we found these kittens coming out of that gate. We placed them in a box. Poor thing!)"Ab Inka dhyan kon rakhega? Inko road par toh nahi chhod sakte." I asked but everyone made an excuse of not keeping them.
(Now who will take care of them? We can't leave them on the road.)
