Author's POV . . . . . . As today was the haldi and mehendi function, everyone was getting ready in their rooms. Everyone wore clothes according to the theme which was yellow and green.(As usual)Both the families decided to do this function together.
In Divisha's room, both the girls were almost ready with their beautiful anarkali kurti, no jewellery except earrings and juttis with embroidery work.
Divisha's leg was better because of ice packs and she could walk but still she had to be careful and could not wear heels.

They were talking and laughing about any random topic. They heard the yelling of Divisha's mother, Lata.
"Aree tumhara sajna savarna khatam ho gaya toh function shuru karva lo!!" (If you are ready then start the function!!)
"Chal le bhen!!" They both said in a sync and left for the function area. (Let's go sis!!)
Meanwhile
All the boys had already arrived in the open area for haldi. Everything was set and the function was about to start. All the guests were present there and soon Yukti's family also arrived. Avinash's family welcomed them with big smiles.
Function started and slowly everybody started applying haldi paste on Avinash and Yukti's face and body. Soon every elder finished and only youngsters were left to apply it.
Abhimanyu's POV
Girls started applying haldi paste on their face painting their face fully with haldi.
Lastly, it was Divisha's turn she took two flowers from a plate and applied some haldi on it and slightly brushed it on their faces, leaving them fast. How dramatic!! Looks like her hands will get germs if she even touches it. Should I ruin her drama and.......🤫
All the boys started applying paste on their faces. Lastly I went to them and applied paste on their faces. Then I looked at all the boys who were standing behind Avinash. I smirked and they in return showed a thumbs up.
"Go!!" I said and all the boys lifted Avinash from his seat taking him to the small haldi pool prepared by us.

"No please guys!! NO!!" He yelled but they threw him in the pool and after sometime he started pulling them into the pool.
All the girls were laughing and giggling but Divisha was standing there with a wrinkled nose. What is she finding disgusting in it?? Then she left from there towards the entrance of the house.
Let's irritate her!!! Why don't we take revenge!!
I took turmeric paste in my hands and left towards where she left. I found her standing in the main hall near the window with her back towards me. I slowly went towards her and found her using her phone.
"Divisha!!" I said and she startled moving behind.
"Aree bilkul mand buddhi ho kya!!" She said putting her hand on her heart. Ab kya Kiya maine??? Yeh har baar bura hi kyu bolti hai!🔪 (Are you a moron!?) (What did I do now??? Why does she always speaks bad about me!)
"Kya chahiye!?" She asked and I remembered my task. (What do you want!?)
"Kuch kaam tha!" I said taking a step ahead. (I had some work!)
She asked what and I replied to her by placing my hands on her cheeks.
"Yehh!!" I said with a smirk and removed my hands from her cheeks. I showed her my hands and moved back a little, ready to run.
"Tumne haldi lagayi na!?" She asked and touched her cheeks. (Did you applied turmeric!?)
"Well, your face needed a makeover, and I thought I'd do you a favor. You can thank me later for the 'okay-ish' face you'll get after washing your face because your current face is..... You can fill the blank yourself." I said with a tight lipped smile.
"Tumhe toh mai badme dekhti hu!" She yelled and ran upstairs. (I'll see you later!)
The satisfaction I got after watching the irritation on her face. Mission Accomplished!!! I don't know why I'm doing this but it is fun to irritate her. Maybe we can say its my revenge..........
Divisha's POV
Meanwhile
I ran into washroom and washed haldi from mu face but it is still itching. I ran into my room and opened a drawer near my bed. I took out my allergy cream and applied it on my face.
I put cream on the dressing table and saw dark red spots on my cheeks. The cream will take about 15-20 minutes to work. Till then I have to handle this itching.
I changed into casual clothes and went to my bed to get some sleep. Because only sleep can distract me from this itching. As I laid on the bed and Kritika entered the room but she went to washroom without looking at me.
She came after some time running towards me and looked at me with a horrified look.
"Did you applied haldi on your face?" She asked
"Uss abhimanyu ke bachhe ne laga di!!" I yelled (That Abhimanyu applied it!!)
"You should have denied him!!" She said touching my cheeks.
"Jaise mai toh mari jaa rahi thi na haldi lagvane ke liye. Chup ke se lagadi uss kutte ne!! Kamina kahi ka!! Asshole!! Idiot!! Bastard!! Haramz...." Divisha said, sarcasm dripping in her voice. And then started cursing Abhimanyu. (Like I was dying so that he applies haldi to me. He applied it suddenly! Idiot!! Bastard!! Dumb!! As.....)
"Bas bhi kar ab!" She interrupted me in between. (Now leave it!)
"It's itching and these red spots will take a lot of time to heal." I said with a crying face.
"I swear if these spots didn't heal till evening then I'll kill him. Aur kal toh party bhi hai na!!" I said but she calmed me down. I slept after talking to her for sometime. (And tomorrow party is there too!!)
In the evening
I woke up in the evening and got freshen up. My cheeks were not looking much red and no itching was there. No one would ask anything about it.
I went downstairs and saw everyone gathered in the hall. And some discussion was going on. I went towards them and sat besides Dad.
I asked him about it and he told me that Avinash Bro's friends were talking about bachelor's party.
"Hum bhi jaayenge party me toh!" Kritika said coming from kitchen with some snacks in her hand. I agreed with her but everyone denied. (We'll also go to party!)
Then after about half an hour of convincing them, it was decided that girls and boys will have party in same club but different places.
As the discussion came to an end, it was time for dinner and after doing it, everyone returned to their rooms.
I have to take revenge from that chamgadar. But how will I do it?? Should I ask kritika about it? Nooo!! She will not help me. Avinash bro? Noo!! He will tell Abhimanyu about my plan. One of his friends? Maybe I can give them some bribe and will not tell them about my plan.
But what should I do with him. I'll think about it tomorrow. I swear, I will not leave him easily.......... . . . . . .
