SABRINA TOOK A SIP OUT OF THE WATER BOTTLE,HER EYES DARTING AROUND THE FOREST.
Sabrina heard the hymn play and counted every person the screen showed.
There were ten of them left.
And Sabrina relaxed when she saw Maven was part of those ten.
Her eyes went to the little girl that layed with her head in Sabrina's lap,her snoring filling the empty forest.
Sabrina reached into her hair and stroked it lightly,making Gina flinch but then relax once she felt her smell.
"Morning."Gina whispered and Sabrina chuckled."How long did I sleep?"
"A whole day."Sabrina replied."Ten of us are left. No sign of Maven."
"We should go look for him."Gina said as she got up from Sabrina's embrace. "We'vd already been her for a day,we need to move."
"Yeah,you're right."Sabrina nodded,getting up. She felt a wave of diziness and then her stomach turned.Gina looked at her with wide eyes."I'm going to-"
Sabrina crouched over the ground,everything she ate yesterday leaving her mouth. Gina was immidieatly next to her,stroking her back up and down.
At the gesture,Sabrina immidieatly thought of Finnick.
"You okay?"Gina asked once Sabrina straightened up with tears in her eyes.
"Morning sickness,I'm fine."She nodded but Gina gave her a look as if to say 'not what I was asking about .' Sabrina shook her head at her. "I'm not. I miss him."
Gina took her hand silently and they walked towards the exist together. They were still looking for Maven as dawn approached and more canons fired.
Nine Eight
"There's eight of us."Sabrina sighed,rubbing her face."This is getting bad."
"Why is it getting bad if we're still alive?"Gina asked,brows furrowed.
"The career group is probably the only one alive. There's five of them."Sabrina explained shortly and Gina nodded,fear now rushing through both their bodies.
Sabrina couldn't help herself as thoughts of Finnick clouded her head again. Was he still rooting for her?Was he watching the games with Max?
Did they still believe in her?Or did they give up once she murdered those two tributes with an emotionless face?
What if Sabrina won?Would Maven's and Gina's death's haunt her every day?
Sabrina's thoughts were cut off when she bumped into Gina.
"Gina,what's-"
Sabrina cut herself off when she saw Maven fighting with another tribute from district two.
Sabrina took out her arrow and bow,pulling the arrow and throwing it into the tribute's shoulder. The tribute from two screamed in pain and Sabrina only pushed Maven towards Gina and pushed the tribute from two on the floor. He screamed when Maven took out the arrow from his shoulder,and instead of burying the arrow in him she took out one of Gina's knives from under her waistline and plunged it into his head.
Blood spattered all over her,her ears ringing from the tributes begs and screams.
Sabrina looked at the man under her and stumbled off of him,walking backwards until her back hit a tree.
A canon sounded throught the air.
"Oh my god."Sabrina's voice shook as tears fell down her bloody cheeks."I-I-"
"Sabrina,look at me!"Maven loudly said,holding her by the shoulders.Sabrina's lifeless and sad eyes connected with Mavens as he pulled her into a hug."It's okay. You did it to protect me,Sabrina."He whispered,his worried frown deepening when he didn't get any reaction from Sabrina.

Maven was holding Sabrina on his shoulders as Gina led them back into the forest. She picked a different place now,more deeper into the forest since two more canons sounded through the air when they were walking here.
There were five of them now.
Sabrina was put down on the floor and Gina opened up her mouth,forcing some water down. She made sure to feed Sabrina a bit of bread,also forcing it down her throat. Well,not exactly forcing it since ever since she killed the tribute from two,she's been quiet and unresponsive,but able to swallow and to tired to fight them.
Maven approached the two girls and gave a concerened look to Sabrina before handing a parachute to Gina.
Gina opened it and found a stuffed animal inside.
A stuffed dove.
She saw a note in the parachute and read it.
This will bring her back to reality. - F and H
"Thanks,boys."Gina spoke quietly and took the stuffed animal. She opened Sabrina's arms and put the stuffed animal in her hand.
Sabrina looked down at it and more tears formed in her eyes.
And Gina and Maven both relaxed when their best friend spoke three,quiet words.
